DAILY LESSON PLAN FOR REMEDIAL CLASS


IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
GRADE 12

Subject: Introduction to the Philosophy of the Human Person


Date: November 2-4, 2022

I. OBJECTIVES
1.1 Provide students opportunities to cover up the Philosophy lessons.
1.2 Provide students opportunities to participate actively in all Philosophy activities for
the enhancement of their academic performance.
1.3 Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses in doing all activities pertaining to
Philosophy lessons.
1.4 Promotes Philosophy lessons to students who were having difficulties and make
Philosophy an enjoyable subject.
II. CONTENT

A. Subject matter
 Focus: Methods of Philosophizing

B. Material
1. Pictures related on the topic
2. Coke float cup with plastic cover
3. Laptop
4. TV
5. PPT Power point

III. PROCEDURES
A. Pre-liminary Activities
 Prayer
 Greetings/ Checking of Attendance
 Motivation
The teacher will divide the class into two groups. Each group will pick 5
picture should be placed in the right cup.
The first group who finished the task will be the winner.
B. Lesson Proper
 The teacher will discuss briefly what is Fact, Opinion, Truth.
 The teacher will describe the picture presented.
 The teacher will do the activities and give examples about a picture of
opinion and facts.

C. Activity
 Provide activities that will develop students, responsibilities,
independence, skills and behavior.
 Varied activities that will enhance teamwork, unity, cooperation, group
work and academic contest and quizzes.

D. Application
 The teacher will display the pictures on the table and each group will help
representatives, each of them will pick 5 pictures, the pictures are labeled
containing the picture related to opinions, facts and truth.
 Then ask the students to put the pictures to put the pictures inside the cup
with the right empirical data.
 As they put inside the can, the students are required to read the about
facts, truth and opinions.
 As the students reads the facts and opinions, he/she is becoming aware
about the differences between facts and opinions, how can we use this
knowledge to our daily lives?
E. Generalization
 The teacher will review/discuss the activity that was done by the students
of the subject.

The teacher will ask:


 What is the difference between facts and opinions?
 How is the two concepts differ from truth?
 Which is closer to the truth?

(Socratic Method)
The learner’s ideas must be collected and use it in generalization.
IV. EVALUATION
 The teacher will ask the students to write down 5 opinion and facts.
 They will write down their ideas and what they think about it.
 Then the students are asked to present their work in front and read their
answers.
