Co-ordination and follow up with application team (APD) on application

deployment and testing statuses

Description:
Application Deployments define the package of software components that make up an
application in a particular environment, e.g. development or production. Instances of these
are deployed onto physical Technology Nodes to capture where that software is executing.

Pre-requisites:
1.Application team SPOC
2.Architectural diagram

Follow-up Procedures:
1. Getting the requirements from the App team on what needs to be done.
2. As per the requirement team will start to work on the deployment.
3. If any challenges in deployment, team will schedule a call with the application
team to discuss on that.
4. Deployment team will get the clarity and inputs.
5. If needed team will raise ticket to NHC or Microsoft based on the challenge.
6. If any alternative solution suggested by NHC, again we have to discuss with the
application team.
7. Then, after their approval we can go with the alternative solution or else we have
look out solution for the existing architecture.
8. Once the internal issue resolved, team can able to deploy successfully.
9. The process will be the same for all the further follow-up.

Follow-up Testing Status:

1. Once application deployed, we can notify the application team to test via email.
2. If they face any issue while testing, they can send us an email on that.
3. Team will send an instant reply to that mail and they will start to resolve the
issue.
4. Once issue resolved, app team can start doing their testing again.
5. Once they can successfully test the application, they will confirm from their end
or else we should confirmation from their end.
Application Team Challenges:
1. They will post their issue via email or via teams.
2. Teams should ask their SPOC before making any replies to them.
3. All the emails should be done by the SPOC alone.
4. Whenever application team approaches a single person. He/she should inform
the SPOC and involve him/her to make the decision.
5. For complete support application team should know whom to contact.
Deployment team must make sure of everyone’s responsibility.
