India lacks a dedicated and specific data protection regulation. However, there have been
changes in some provisions to make the law more favorable to the nationals through amendments
to existing acts to make a more practical act. Some of the amended acts include 1 the requirements
of the Information Technology act of 2000, IT Act. The changes made to such Acts make the law
emulate a more comprehensive nature that would reduce the process of fighting for justice

On the contrary, anonymous data is the data that hides the identity of an individual entity,
such as a person. According to Finck and Pallas (2020), no data could be completely anonymous.
However, when data is in the right hands, it is considered private, so its disclosure remains
anonymous for various reasons. An example of anonymous data is the data used in the media.
Such data could be filmed, and the person's voice that reveals data distorted and face hidden.
However, such data could be revealed since there are original videos taken, and some people are
involved in the shooting of the videos, giving them a first-hand experience of the news. Also,
there could be some traces noticeable by other people, such as nearby landmarks, clothing,
talking tone, and selection of words. However, data privacy policies could be used to ensure that
all stakeholders are safe from breaches before any disclosure of a personal revelation is done.
