Board of Directors Meeting

July 14, 2022

Meeting called to order by Laurel Wilson at 7:00

Attendance:
Laurel Wilson-President
Karla Newberry -Treasurer
Kristy Dunbar-Secretary
Faith Gay - Vice President (Phone)

Financial Update:
All HOA dues have been paid for 2022.

Community Topics:
1 . Use of the playground and common areas by those not part of the Park
Place HOA; if they are going to use it and PP is unable to police this, then
we should benefit from it.
** Board voted unanimously that if others are going to use it and PP
cannot police it, we should benefit from it.
a. Implement a social membership.
b. Member will be charged $350.00
c. Members will NOT have voting rights and will not participate in HOA
meetings.
d. Membership will include ONLY the use of the playground and
recreational areas.
e. Letters will be sent out to residents located within Park Place that
are not currently part of Park Place HOA.
f. Generate some extra money to improve our neighborhood.
2. Neighborhood Directory
** Board voted unanimously
a. Due to neighbor concerns and privacy will not be
creating/distributing a directory.
b. We will explore other options; in the meantime, we encourage you to
network among yourselves.

Spending money:
1. General upkeep:
a. The basketball court will be resurfaced
b. The sundeck will be stained.
i. Gather estimates for these projects.
2. Additional Funds
a. Future projects have been discussed at previous meetings. Letters
will go to homeowners once we have final estimates on how to
spend the money.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30.
