The Fallen Angel By Alexandre Cabanel

Made in 1847

1. Lucifer, after he was cast out of heaven by god.

2. To get revenge on god
3. Gilt and threats
4. He’s angry, feels betrayed, and is plotting revenge.

Just like that, huh? You were able to throw me out just like that. After all I’ve done for you, after
all we’ve been through. You just threw me out like a piece of trash.(Beat) What happened to not
having favorites? What happened to loving everyone equally? But the second you made
those… people, you turn your back on me- on all of us! (Beat) This is a new low, even for you. I
can’t believe I ever had faith in you! All those years doing everything I could to make you happy,
to make you proud. All the sacrifices I made to “glorify” your name! All for you to reject me the
minute I start to think for myself. To cast me out to this barren wasteland, and why? To die?
Waste away? (Beat) But you won’t get rid of me that easily. Even if it takes an eternity, I’ll tear
everything you’ve built to the ground! I will forever be a thorn in your side, a lingering shadow
that’s always in the corner of your eye, a roach you can never kill! And everyone will know just
how holy you are. To hell with you.
