Career Week: We are having fun activities and guest speakers in our classrooms everyday including a
Career Wax Museum in the MP Room running Tuesday – Thursday with our 4th grade students presenting in
the mornings once school starts.

AppleCore Winning Classes for January: Congratulations to the following classes with the
most AppleCore bookmarks turned in for the month of January: Ms. Swinger and Ms. Brown’s
kinders are tied at 36, Ms. Anderson’s first graders at 36, Mrs. Freiburger’s second graders at 23,
Mrs. Benton’s third graders at 26, Mrs. Stackel’s fourth graders at 117, and Mrs. Martin’s fifth
graders at 78! This gives our school a total of 828 AppleCore book marks. We need to hit our
goal of over 1000 by March! Keep getting those reading minutes in and getting those initals for
your bookmarks.

Specialists Trophy Winners for January: Congratulations to the best behaved and best
participation classes for the month of January in all the Specialist classes: Mrs. Martin’s 5th
graders (second month in a row), Mrs. Stackel’s 4th graders (second month in a row),
Mrs. Benton’s 3rd graders (second month in a row for Benton), Miss Ash’s 2nd graders (second
