Creating PDBs from a seed involves using the CREATE PLUGGABLE DATABASE statement to copy data files from the seed to a new location. This creates the system and sysaux tablespaces along with default schemas, common users, and a super user sys account. The system user can then manage the PDB, and a database service is automatically created. PDBs can also be cloned from an existing PDB or unplugged from one CDB and plugged into another by closing the PDB, unplugging it to XML, checking compatibility, and plugging it in using the XML.

We do this by create pluggable database statement.
This will copy data files from seed to new location. This will create system and sysaux tablespaces. This will create default schemas and common users . Sys user will be super user. system user can manage the PDB. This will create the DB service automatically.
What is the prerequisites for using create pluggable database statement?
• The current container must be root
• You must have create pluggable database privileges • The CDB must be in READ WRITE mode

Creating PDBs Unplugging and plugging in PDBs CDB1 CDB2
PDB1
1. Close the pdb1
2. Unplug pdb1 to xml 3. Drop the pdb1 but we keep the datafiles 4. Check compatibility 5. Plug the pdb1 using the xml Prepared By :Khaled AlKhudari Oracle DBA Course 5
