REASONS FOR PLAYING ONLINE GAMES BY STUDENTS OF 12-

GAS G

I. Rationale/Importance of learning
According to the 'PinoyMD' program, one of the causes of students' lack of focus in learning is
the excessive playing of Online Games. It greatly affects their learning if their attention is more
stimulated by playing games, at a time when almost most young people can easily learn to use
gadgets. The early need to wear glasses in the eyes of young people is alarming. One of the
reasons attributed to this is the immersion of young people's eyes in gadgets such as
smartphones, laptops, tablets and computers due to playing online games.

II. Specific goals and Expected Results


The purpose of this paper is to determine the percentage of students who play online games in
a particular school. Moreover, the researchers of this paper believe that it is central to finding a
solution to the problem of excessive playing of online games by students and providing an
alternative way to avoid the bad effects it causes for them.

Therefore, the mission of this paper is to identify the main reasons and motivations for playing
online games by students.

The researches will be specific on the benefits obtained from playing online games, according to
the perception of the students who play them and determine what their relationship will be with
their studies. By identifying the reasons and motivations for playing online games by students in
a particular school, this paper can provide suggestions to students and school officials on how
to solve the issue.

III. Scope and Delimitation


Although the reasons for playing online games by students are widely discussed, this paper will
try to make a representation of the percentage of students who play online games in a school,
specifically in the school of Marcial O. Ranola Memorial School. Apart from the published
statistics, the paper will focus on the negative effects of playing online games on said students.

IV. Mythology
A survey was conducted by the researchers among the students of 12-Gas G. Where the
researchers will determine the number of students who play online games.

Summary
Research was conducted to study the impact of playing Mobile Legends on their lives.
Researchers have found that it has adverse effects on health and learning. It was noticed here
that playing Mobile Legends or any other online games and video games has a bad effect on
our lives if it is played excessively.

VI. Body
In today's modern age, there are many things that affect our culture, but with it comes the
modernized lifestyle. Technology has become so widespread in our world that we have it in our
lives. The computer is one of the most exemplary things in our time today. We use it as a tool
for work, research of different discourses, able to communicate with our loved ones in a faster
way, and have fun with artistic games that we really find different and entertaining.

Online games, this is a type of game that can only be found on cellphones and computers
where using the mind and pressing fingers will be the instrument to play. Compared to video
games, online games use the internet, load ok networking which will be the way to compete with
some players.

This new type of game is loved by young people from different parts of the world. With its
popularity and the large number of people playing, esports made it.

Because of the launch to make it a tournament, several players had the opportunity and the
institution of online games grew worldwide. It is true that many young Filipinos are fond of
playing online games, because online games are an undeniable issue facing young Filipinos.
