May 11, 2021

Mr. Paul E. Bennet, Officer

Ministry of Education
P.O.Box N-4781
New Providence, Bahamas

Dear Sir:

After years of researching and record keeping, my organization, which is

a non-profit group of conservatives from The Bahamas National
Careholders, came up with some very interesting facts. We feel that the
Ministry of Education (MOE) not only needs to make its students aware
but find a way to involve them actually in our plans to keep the
Bahamian shark population healthy.

As you may have read in a supplement, published in one of our local

newspapers, sharks are in trouble globally. Because these predators are
at the top of the food chain, they help to keep the marine life in
balance. We are planning an art/essay competition where students may
draw a poster or write an essay expressing ways and means by which our
Bahamian sharks can remain healthy.

Dates for the competition are July 1 2013 to August 9, 2013. Rules and
applications forms are attached for distribution to various schools.
Please see that all schools receive copies of these forms so those who
want to participate in this event.

Sincerely,

Mr. Raymond P Smith
