RE: RECOMMENDATION LETTER

Dear Hon. Marquez,

Greetings!

This letter pertains to one of the Court Decongestion Officers assigned to the
Court, Bai Mara Odessa B. Ali, whose Contract of Employment is to expire on
November 17, 2021.

As of September 2021, the Court has a total of 693 active cases in its dockets.
Also, RTC-Branch 88 has just been designated as a Special Expropriation Court as per
Memorandum Circular No. 04-2021 dated March 25, 2021. Thus, an influx of
expropriation cases is expected to be filed with the Court in the coming days.

Moreover, out of the twelve permanent positions of the Court’s staff

complement, only six positions are currently filled-up.

As such, the undersigned formally requests and recommends the renewal of Bai
Mara Odessa B. Ali’s contract as Court Decongestion Officer in order for the Court to be
able to meet the exigency of service.
