Product: Milltronics BW 500 with software version 3.06 or later / Dolphin Plus

Summary: Dolphin Plus patch will enable SmartLinx parameters in Dolphin Plus for the BW 500 with
software revision 3.06 or later

Overview:

Milltronics BW 500 software revision 3.06 includes corrections for a Dolphin protocol error that would
cause communications to drop out between the BW 500 and Dolphin Plus. The Dolphin Plus software
revision 1.5.0 with patch is required for use with BW 500 software revision 3.06 or greater to correct
this issue.

Action Required:

When using Milltronics BW 500 with software revision 3.06 or later, download the latest patch for
Dolphin Plus software revision 1.50.
Go to the Milltronics BW 500 product page at https://pia.khe.siemens.com/index.asp?Nr=9962 and
choose Downloads under the More Info heading on the right.

After download:

1. Double click on the .exe file to run it.

2. The file will extract the patch to the default installation folder for Dolphin Plus (C:\Program
Files\Milltronics\Dolphin Plus). If your installation is in a different folder, click Browse and select
your installation folder.
3. Click Unzip.
4. Click OK when the file has been unzipped.
5. Click Close.
