Write your answer in a clean sheet of paper and take a picture of it once done. Don’t forget to submit
it on time (Deadline: Monday/ October 17, 2022 / 11:59pm) and turn in your work in our Google
Classroom.

Direction: Differentiate the Data Models, Entity Relationship Diagram and Normalization. Explain it
based on your understanding with the lessons. (20 points)

The differentiate of these are Conceptual Data Model establish the basic concepts and
semantics of a given domain and help to communicate these to a wide audience of stakeholders.
Serve as a common vocabulary during the analysis stages of a project; they can be created in
Enterprise Architect using Entity-Relationship or UML Class models while Logical Data Models
It helps us understand the details of the data, logical data model is the architect or designer view
of the data and Physical data models in Enterprise Architect help you visualize your database
structure and automatically derive the corresponding database schema. In the other hand Entity
Relationship Diagrams, or ERDs, are a type of diagram that, as their name suggests, are used
to display logical entries in databases (typically tables) and the relationships that exist between
them. Normalization is a process that aids in the creation of good database design. Eliminating
redundancy from the data is the main idea. The idea behind normalization is to remove
redundancies and thereby make it easier to get consistent answers from your queries. This is
frequently summarized as "One Fact, One Place." If you store multiple copies of the same piece
of information, they can get out of sync, making it impossible to get the right answer from queries.
