Junior Academy Math Information

Dear Students & Parents,

Welcome to San Jose Charter Academy. I am very excited to begin the 2011-2012 school year! I want to take this time to introduce myself to you and to give you some important information about my classroom. Were off to a good start. Im enjoying getting to know your child and look forward to meeting you personally during our Back to School Night. Im sure you are as committed as I am to seeing that your child gets off to a good start. For that reason, I am sending a copy of my classroom rules, a list of basic student responsibilities, my homework policy, and a description of some of the procedures I use to keep you informed. When problems arise in the classroom, I will make a complete effort to resolve the matter individually with the student. If we are unable to resolve the problem, then I often ask parents for support and assistance. Together we can usually resolve problems early and get students pointed in the right direction. Please support me by reviewing the attached lists of classroom rules, student responsibilities, and homework policy with your child, and indicate a telephone number where you can be reached during school hours. Thanks for your support. Lets have a fantastic year! Sincerely,

One set will be left in the classroom for your child to use during school hours and the other set (DVD ROM) is for your child to have and keep at home. This will help alleviate the amount of textbooks your child is carrying. In order for us to be able to check the textbook out to your child, we need you to sign and return this page. This will let us know that you understand the conditions under which you are checking out the book. Thank you for your cooperation.
