Engineer - Water Treatment Plant - the role holder is responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and to Emirates
maintain them in an effective manner.

In this role, your responsibilities adhere with the standard operating procedures for effective operation of
the systems (Water Treatment Plant - Sand filter, Reverse Osmosis RO, Softener, De-lonizer DI, Clean MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Talent
Utilities, PUW Storage and Distribution, WFI Generation, Storage & Distribution, Clean Steam Generation &
Distribution). He will ensure the operations are within the allowed limit as per the cGMP guidelines and H 2 - 5 Years
process design.

Key responsibilities & Accountability:

Responsible for water plant operations & maintenance and shift activities.

Perform the preventive maintenance and per the schedule and document all the activities and events.

Responsible for monitoring the quality parameters and data recordings.

Responsible to maintain the daily historical trend data from SCADA monitoring systems. Plant alarm
monitoring and logging in the alarm log sheet and reporting deviations to officers.

Analyze the water quality parameters of water plants and maintain within the acceptance limit.

Responsible for the operations, maintenance and troubleshooting instructions, PLC and control systems.

Attend the breakdown, troubleshooting and rectify with priority of the above equipment.

Responsible for in-house project execution and periodic systems upgradations.

Documentation and keep the operations and maintenance records updated for internal and external
regulatory audits.

Daily inspection of water plant and related areas and reporting the status to officers.

Follow up of routine plant related activities, keep the plant and equipment clean and aseptic condition.

All maintenance and report are completed on time with no errors.

Read and follows operations and maintenance SOPs.

Responsible to follow safety during work in the WTP plant.

Responsible for the operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of the instrumentation, PLC's and
control systems.

Responsible for in-house project execution and periodic system upgradations.

Responsible to handle QMS and ERP.

Qualifications:

- Education

4 years Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.

Technical certifications : Electronics / Electrical Industrial Automation.

- Experience:

Must have a minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in operation and maintenance of RO systems, deionizers,
pure steam generators, WFI and purified water systems.

- Training:

Key Competencies:

In terms of competency, you are highly result oriented with strong sense of accountability and ownership.

High on compliance with strong implementation skills and should be self-starter who needs limited
supervision.

Must be a resourceful problem solver and must possess strong ability to work effectively under pressure
and meet established deadlines.

Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills required.

Flexibility and adaptability to execute the needs of the department.

Demonstrated ability in working independently and as part of a team.

Ability to meet attendance standards. At times, it may be necessary to work additional hours in order to
accomplish the required tasks to meet deadlines.

Technical Competencies:

 Knowledge of water treatment process and equipment, SCADA systems, control panels & PLC,
troubleshooting capabilities.

GED (Good Engineering Documents): - Strong knowledge of engineering and maintenance documents.

Preventive / corrective maintenance: - Knowledge of PM/CM planning/scheduling and implementation

including planned and unplanned maintenance concept.
Critical Spare Parts Control - Knowledge of spare parts inventory, ordering and maintaining the min.
reorder level.

Strong command in English (communicating, writing and speaking).

Professional in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, etc.)
