Pelin Ioana

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter on behalf of the “Love for All” organization regarding the details of the “Run
‘till you drop” event. The purpose of this event is to raise money for breast cancer research. This
letter also contains information about the usage of the money that will be spent in the light of this
activity.

To begin with, I will make the general aspects of this event very clear. It consist of a 4-kilometers
marathon that will take place on the 3rd of March 2021, along the eastern shore. The set up is divided
into three main parts: the start, the middle and the finish line. Next to the “Valley” Mall, there will be
three tables with 50 water bottles and the same number of protein bars, as well as a donation box.
There are two checkpoints alongside the shore: one for 2 kilometers and a second one for 3
kilometers. Each consists of a donation box and a personalised pen that people who decide to give up
are offered. There is a photo booth at the finish line, as well as a table with 50 medals for the people
who completed the marathon. The accessories for the photo booth vary from cardboard glasses to
hats and positive signs about the battle with cancer. It goes without saying that there is also a single
use camera. The money obtained from the photo booth will be, of course, donated to cancer
research. A total of 100 pounds was spent on the whole set up.

Nevertheless, we put far more value on the participant’s experience, thus gathering twenty four
volunteers that are evenly divided into each part. I am confident that our volunteers will work
zealously to ensure that everything goes as planned and, obviously, that no one gets injured. The
“Run ‘till you drop” event will be shared on social media and also through hand-made posters
created by our volunteers. The entrance fee is 5 pounds per person and there are 50 places available.

I am confident that I gave enough details about how is the event organised and about the money
that made it possible. We hope that, through this marathon, a great sum of money will be raised for
this worthwhile cause.

Best regards, Mister Duncan.
