The HRM Department Student Dress Code

hereby declare to abide and follow the dress code of the

College of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Female Students
a. All female students shall wear the official type A uniform of the department every school day except during wash-
day on Wednesdays.
b. Only white undershirt is allowed to be worn together with the official uniform. Shirts of other colors are not allowed.
Undershirts must be tucked-in.

Pants- must be worn at the waist or upper hip and must not reveal underclothing, blouses- must not reveal
underclothing, midsection, torso, back, chest, breasts or cleavage.
d. Shoes- must be black leather shoes with two inch heels. Cleaned and polished. Closed-toe shoes are preferred.
House shoes/house slippers of any kind are not allowed. Only black socks/foot socks are preferred.
e.
Head coverings- no type of head covering is to be worn with the exception of (1) a cap or hat that is part of a uniform
worn at a school activity/laboratory. A hair net must be worn at all times.
f. Jewelry/piercings- dangling, noisy, distracting and excessive jewelry or accessories are prohibited (including wallet
chains.)
g. Tattoos-permanent or temporary, must be covered at all times. Hair/make-up-hair must be well groomed, neat and
clean at all times; hair style/color and makeup must not detract from or interfere with the learning and school
environment.
h. Nails- must be color free, trimmed, and clean at all times.

School id-must be worn at all times while inside the school premises. Official UC I.D. sling is preferred.
Male students
a. All male students shall wear the official type A uniform of the department every school day except during wash-
day on Wednesdays.

c. Short sleeve polo shirt- must not reveal underclothing, midsection, torso, back, chest. d. Shoes- must be black
leather shoes. Cleaned and polished. Closed-toe shoes are preferred. House shoes/house slippers of any kind are
not allowed. Black socks/foot socks are preferred.
e. E. head coverings- no type of head covering is to be worn with the exception of
(1) A cap or hat is part of a uniform worn during laboratory. Caps, berets, and hats of any other kind are not allowed.
f. Jewelry/piercing- earrings, jewelry piercings in any parts of the body is not allowed. Such jewelries should be taken
off while inside the campus.
g. Tattoos-permanent or temporary, must be covered at all times.
h. Hair/make-up- hair must be well groomed, neat and clean at all times, hair dyed/colored and facial makeup is not
allowed

All HRM students shall follow the dress code at all times. The ff. sanctions will be given to those who violated.
I.D.'s. and the prohibited accessories will be confiscated.
1st offense: a warning will be given by the HRM office.
2nd offense: a dialogue with the HRM Dean plus 5hrs campus duty
