IV. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing previous lesson The Real Match!
The students will be holding strips of cartolina written
with determinants of SWOT. They will match the
strips as to STRENGHTS, WEAKNESSES,
OPPORTUNITIES and THREATS posted on the board.
B. Establishing a purpose for the Situation Analysis:
lesson A new school will be put up in your vicinity.
1. Who will be benefited of putting up a school in your
area?
2. What are their possible needs and wants?
3. List down the possible businesses to put up that can
satisfy their needs?

C. Presenting Examples/ instances Watch and Learn..


of new lesson A video clip about Typhoon Yolanda will be presented to
students. After watching, the students will group
themselves to five. Each group will be guided by the
following questions.
1. What were the needs of the people after the
destruction of typhoon Yolanda?
2. List down the possible business idea to flourish after
the typhoon?
3. How can these businesses satisfy the needs of
affected people?

D. Discussing new concepts and TDAR Activity:


practicing new skills Using the same group, the students will discuss the
ways on how to generate ideas for business using SWOT.
The students will think ways on how to generate ideas for
business using SWOT. Let them discuss how these ways
can help a would –be entrepreneur to put up his business
and the entrepreneurs to improve their products and
services. Then make a short skit on how these opportunities
can guide the entrepreneur on the choice of his business
venture and share some reflections learned from the lesson.
