Introduction
This work has as objective to clarify about the commercial letter and its benefits for the
merchantes.

So what is a business letters?


A business Letter is a written document exchanged by companies among themselves or with
their costomers and vice versa, aiming to initiate, maintain or close transactions.

The paper used in business letters is, in general, letterhead at the top with the name and
specialty of the company. Just below and to the right of the letterhead, the name of the
location and the date should be.

Below the address, with an intermediate space, comes the invocation, which must be
impersonal (dear sir (s), Mr. President, etc).

The mane and adderss of the recipient are on the left of the paper, below the epigraph
(location and date).

The text should occupy the center of the sheets and be written clearly and concisely.

The closure is, in general, immutable and consists of wishes of friendship and respec.:
( Examples:sincerely, Respectfully).

All business correspondence must be typed with a copy, or the file must be kept on the
computer.

The left margin will be wider than the right. It may contain subject exposure in the
reference..

Cover letters: Sent with a package, report or other item, the purpose of a cover letter is to
describe what is enclosed and provide a description of what the receiver should do with it.

Thank you letters: These can be great for networking and relationship building. Don t just
write a, Thanks for, details about what they did and how it helped you and then close with a
second expression of thankfulness.

Complaint letters : the key to these types of letters is to demonstrate that you are
displeased without being over the- tap angay-suggest how the receiver of the letter
might corret the situation.

Adjustment letters : this ia a respanse to a complant letter, the paint is to be humbble in


the response and to offer potential solutions, you want to avoid burning bridges and instead
use your response as a relationship- building tool.

Bd news letters : the key with bad news letters is to soften then blow being direct is
valued in business writing but when writing bad news letters, its best.

Business letters have many types of contests for example:

1. To request a right information or action that is part of the company.


2. To order the suppliers.
3. To point out errors in the letter.
4. To apologize or make mistakes.
Conlusion

After some research we came to the conclusion tha: the business letter is a
form of written contact used for cmmunication between companies or
between them and individuals, it is characterized by the formality, coherence,
clarity and objectivity of the subject at hand, it is also necessary to present all
contact information to obtain one.response by the recipient.
