Earth’s Magnetic Field

Before we go to the questions we must first understand what is

a polar reversal or polar reverse, it is an even in our planet
where the north becomes south and the south becomes north
thus making irreversible damage to our earth, but it doesn’t
happen immediately it occurs very slowly, each magnetic pole
reversal takes about 1,000 to 10,000 years, it greatly diminishes
before it re-aligns, it is but a slow process, this is where the
field strength becomes weak, in this event the field becomes
more complex and might show more than two poles for a while
and it then builds up in strength and re-aligns itself in the
opposite direction.
This is what it looks like if the polars reverse
It becomes even more chaotic than before.
A. What will the living organisms experience if the magnetic
poles flip?
B. What is/are the proof/s that the planet is heading towards
magnetic reversals

Answers:
1. As humans, some of our cells get damaged and we will be
more susceptible to radiation which causes skin cancer or
cancer in general, while in animals it will disrupt their
compass which relies on the magnetic field
2. It is said that the magnetic north pole has moved over the
last 150 years, the magnetic field has moved
approximately 685 miles across northern Canada but now
its racing 25 miles a year to the north west which possibly
indicates the magnetic field flip
