It’s the story of Roro Jonggrang. Who is Roro Jonggrang? Let’s listen to the story!

One upon a time, there was kingdom named Prambanan. All the people of Prambanan
lived safe and peaceful. But then, Prambanan kingdom was attacked and colonized by
Pengging Kingdom led by Bandung Bondowoso. He was a mean king and also had great
supernatural power. His soldiers were not only humans, but also genies.
The king of Prambanan had a beautiful daughter named Roro Jonggrang. Bandung
bondowoso fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. Roro Jonggrang was shocked after
heard that. She didn’t like Bandung Bondowoso because he was a mean person. She
wanted to refuse, but she was afraid that Bandung Bondowoso would be angry and
endangered the people of Prambanan. Then, she came up with a plan
‘if you want to marry me, you have to build a thousand temples for me just one night’
said Roro Jonggrang. WHAAAAAAATTT THAT IMPOSIBLE!!! said Bandung Bondowoso.
But he did’nt give up. He consulted with his advaisor. Your Majesty, u can asked the genies
to help build the temples. Said the advaisor.
So Bandung Bondowoso commanded genies soldier to help him build a thousand
temples. The genies worked in a unbelievable speed. Meanwhile, Roro Jonggrang heard
from the servant that the build of a thousand temple was almost finished. SHE WAS SOO
WORRIEEDDD.
But again, she came up with a good idea. She ask all of her servants to help her. Please
prepare a lot of straw and mortar. PLEASEE HARRY UP! Said Roro Jonggrang. Burn the
straw and make some noise pounding the mortar, QUICKLY. Yaaa all did what she asked
and it making the genies think that sun is going to rise. It made the genies run
In the next morning, Bandung Bondowoso showed Roro Jonggrang the temple he had b
uilt just one night. He was shocked when he knew that the temple had only nine hundred nin
ety nine. HE WAS VERY ANGRYY, and think that Roro Jonggrang had tricked him. Then,
Bandung Bondowoso recite the mantra 'make Roro Jonggrang a stone' abakadabraaa.. and
he changed Roro Jonggrang as a statue to complete the temple. Finally, there were a
thousand temples. And now the temples are called Roro Jonggrang Temple.
