CINDO

China and Indonesia are a matter of relationship that is necessary but does not want to be
admitted. There is no aspect of Indonesians that is not influenced by China. The Fujian school of
cuisine has left a strong imprint on Indonesian society: mixing various ingredients and
seasonings. Even Fujian's complex landscape has mountains and seas, in my opinion, it's
impossible not to have anything to do with the saying 'Acid in the mountains, salt in the sea,
meets in a pot'. Apart from pots, the food we consume is mostly processed in a wok (aka wok),
served on ceramic cutlery, like the Chinese. That's how close the attachment of Indonesian
culture is to China, where in the 20th century, anti-Chinese incidents took place in various
places and times in Indonesia.

Still going on until now the tapering identity politics so that it seems as if Cindo (Chinese-
Indonesian) is not Indonesian.

This is nothing new. History shows that Cindo's contribution to this nation is enormous, even
today. Does it seem that only the economic sector seems to be allowed Cindo people to enter,
as administrators or state guards? Do not hope.

Based on the general knowledge taught, no one denies that Indonesia's ancestors came from
Yunan, a province in the southwest/southwest of China which until now the majority of the
population has embraced Islam. Cindo is true love and hate collide.
