Week of Feb.

6, 2023

Room 206 Families,

Notes and Reminders:

● Homework: Homework for the week (Reading Tic Tac Toe and Math Homelinks) is due by
Friday each week. The purpose of the homework is to reinforce the concepts we are learning
in school.
● Our Annual Fourth Grade Wax Museum is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 10 at 9:00 am in the
cafeteria. We have been preparing in the classroom. Parents are invited to attend. The only
thing that needs to be prepared outside of school is a costume representing their person.
Students are also encouraged to bring in a prop representing their person. We have been
working very hard and I hope you are able to attend! Students should wear as much of their
costume as possible to school this day so we can make sure to get started right at 9:00 am.
● We will be celebrating Valentine's Day in class on Feb. 14. Students can bring valentines for
their classmates. If doing so, they must bring for ALL the students in the class. There are 26.
Students are also allowed to bring valentine treats for the class (cupcakes, cookies, etc.).
Treats must be store bought and nut free.
● As a reminder, the best way to reach me is email: rmaltz@cps.edu. Everything is also posted
on my website: rmaltz.weebly.com.
● The classroom is in need of both sanitizing wipes and facial tissue. We are grateful for any
donations.
