ROFEL Trust was started in 1985 by Rotary Club of Vapi to fulfill the needs of higher education in
Valsad District and surrounding areas. Today the trust runs the following institutes of undergraduate
and postgraduate education.
ROFEL started the BBA Programme since 1996 under the name GIDC Rajju Shroff Rofel Institute
of Management Studies (BBA Programme). It was the first institute in the whole of South Gujarat
(Umbergaon to Bharuch) to start a BBA programme initially with 60 students intake, now has an
intake of more than 225+ students. ROFEL trust had foreseen the country’s requirement of future
leaders and developers to lead the corporate, government concerns & non-government organization.
The Rofel trust is also the pioneer to commence the BCA course in the year 2000. The BCA College
was started under the name Rofel Shri G.M.Bilakhia College of Applied science (BCA) district, with
the intake of 60 students and now it has the intake of 160+ students.
It is worth to mention that the trust was the first to start the BCA College in Valsad district. The
programme offered at the institute aims at the holistic formation of future leaders and IT developers
with utmost, professional competence, a strong ethical perspective. Intellectual Depth, Leadership
skills & Social responsibility are the core values that govern the pedagogy of BBA and BCA
programme. The trust had foreseen the future dependency on technology which gave them the
intuition to begin the BCA programme. With the vision for further development, Rofel BBA and
BCA programmes merged in the year 2021.
We were organizing the management fest “INCEPTUM” with full support from all the colleges of
South Gujarat region & with this positive co-operation since 2009. Inceptum provides a platform to
the students of undergraduate level of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and other surrounding
institutes to showcase their latent talents. The event gives an opportunity to students to practice the
theories and concepts learned in classroom.
“ICOMP” was started in the year 2005 and the Objective behind arranging ICOMP was to encourage,
give exposure to the talent and skills of VNSGU students. During this event, students get the
opportunity to exercise their problem solving knowledge, implement programming skills and apply
creativity in fun and challenging environment.
And now this year 2023, we are organising Dyna-Fest which is the Amalgamation of Inceptum
and ICOMP as a combined efforts of BBA & BCA team. The event is designed with the objective
to give exposure of skills of students from multidisciplinary fields connected with VNSGU, Surat for
their overall development. The event encompasses the competitions which are formulated in such a
way to offer them with a platform where they can try and test their capabilities by competing with the
fellow students of various colleges of VNSGU and upgrade their talents and skills. Also DYNA fest
is an opportunity for students to think out of the box and stand apart from the rest of the crowd. Hence
it is Quoted Dyna-Fest “Where Knowledge meets Talent.”
