OF REPLY BRIEF

ACCUSED-APPELLANT, through the undersigned counsel,

unto this Honorable Court of Appeals, respectfully states that:

1. The Public Attorney’s Office received a copy of the Brief

for the Appellee filed by the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG);

2. However, upon a careful perusal of the said Appellee’s

Brief, the OSG merely refuted the arguments raised in the accused-
appellant’s brief. Thus, no new issues were raised for further
discussion;

3. Hence, accused-appellant, through the undersigned

counsel, hereby manifests that he no longer intends to file a reply
brief to expedite proceeding and to avoid reiteration of all the
arguments discussed in her brief.

PRAYER
WHEREFORE, premises considered, it is respectfully prayed of
this Honorable Court that this Manifestation in Lieu of Reply Brief be
duly noted.
