Bag measures 5” x 3½” x 1¾”.
AUNT LYDIA’S® “Classic Crochet Thread “, Size 10:
1 Ball each 661 Frosty Green A, 1 White B, 928 Oasis C,
21 Linen D and 226 Natural E.
Steel Crochet Hook: 1.5mm [US 8].
7” zipper, matching thread and sewing needle, stitch
marker, yarn needle.
GAUGE: 36 sc = 4”. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any
size hook to obtain the gauge.
NOTE: Side piece is worked in continuous rounds. Place
marker for beginning of round.

Front and Back (Make 2)
Round 1: With A, ch 17, slip st in 4th ch from hook (counts
as ch-3 space), slip st in next 13 ch, ch 3, slip st in same ch.
Round 2: Turn, slip st in ch-3 space, (ch 3, 2 dc, [ch 3, 3
dc] twice) in same ch-3 space, [ch 1, skip 2 slip sts, 3 dc in
next slip st] 4 times, ch 1, ([3 dc, ch 3] twice, 3 dc) in next
ch-3 space, turn to work along opposite side of foundation
chain, [ch 1, skip 2 slip sts, 3 dc in next ch] 4 times, ch 1,
slip st in top of beginning ch.
Fasten off.
Round 3: Join B in any ch-1 space, ch 3 (counts as first dc),
2 dc in same space, ch 1, *[3 dc, ch 1] in each ch-1 space to
next ch-3 space, [(3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in ch-3 space, ch 1] twice;
repeat from * once more, [3 dc, ch 1] in each ch-1 space to
beginning ch, slip st to top of beginning ch to join.
Fasten off.
Round 4: Join C in any ch-1 space, ch 3 (counts as first
dc), 2 dc in same space, ch 1, *[3 dc, ch 1] in each ch-1
space to next ch-3 space, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in ch-3 space,
ch 1; repeat from * 3 more times, [3 dc, ch 1] in ch-1 space
to beginning ch, slip st to top of beginning ch to join.
Fasten off.
Round 5: Join D and repeat Round 4.
Round 6: Join C and repeat Round 4.
Round 7: Join E and repeat Round 4.
Round 8: Join C and repeat Round 4.
Round 9: Join A and repeat Round 4.
Fasten off.
Side
With A, ch 176, slip st to first ch to join.
Round 1: Sc in each ch around, place marker for
beginning of round. – 176 sc.
Rounds 2-6: Sc in each sc around.
Rows 7-11: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 120 sts, leave remaining
56 sts unworked for zipper opening.
Round 12: Ch 56 for zipper opening, sc in first st of Row
12, sc in each sc around.
Round 13: Sc in each ch and sc around.
Rounds 14-17: Sc in each sc around.
Round 18: Sc in each sc around, slip st in first 3 sts.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew zipper along zipper openings.
Joining Round: With zipper centered along one long
edge of Front piece, position one long edge of Side piece
around outside edge of Front piece. Working through sts of
both Side and Front pieces, join A in any st, ch 1, working
through both layers, sc in each st around, slip st to first st
to join. Repeat Joining Round to join opposite edge of Side
piece to Back piece.
Weave in ends.
