WHAT’S MORE: ACTIVITY 1

If I were to advocate health consciousness on the internet, I would choose to use Facebook.

In my opinion, Facebook is the best platform on the internet to reach out to the world and

advocate health consciousness. It has a very broad reach in terms of age groups and

demographics that can be reached through it. Also, it is easy to use, user-friendly and

interactive which makes it an ideal platform for advocacy. Facebook allows you to interact

with your friends through posts or comments and also create groups where you can share

information about health awareness campaigns as well as get support from other people

who are interested in health awareness campaigns.

I would also use Facebook to promote healthy eating habits by creating a group called:

"Healthy Eating Habits". The group will contain posts related to healthy eating habits such

as recipes that are nutritious but tasty at the same time. The group members will be

encouraged to post their own ideas about healthy eating habits which will help them learn

more about this topic.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

The internet has changed our lives in many ways. For example, it has made

communication easier and more accessible. In the past decade, we have seen the rise of

social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. These platforms allow us to

connect with people all over the world and share information with them in an instant.

Another way that the internet has changed our lives is by making shopping more

convenient. We can now buy almost anything online, from clothes to groceries to furniture

and electronics. The internet also makes it easier for us to find information about products

and services. We can look up reviews from other users and compare prices from different

websites before making a purchase decision.

The internet allows us to do many things without leaving our homes, including banking,

paying bills and communicating with friends or family members who live far away from us

geographically speaking (they may live on another continent). The internet also helps us

stay connected with people who live nearby by providing access to social media sites such
as Facebook or Twitter where everyone can keep track of what everyone else is doing each

day (or night).
