A. Preparatory Activity Tell the pupils to sing the song "My Favorite Color"

B. Motivation Have you tried attending a birthday party?
C. Activity Look at this picture.

The children are in a birthday party. There are many


objects at the party. There are foods and toys.
What other objects do you see at the party? Can you
name them.
Expected answers (balloons, party hats, cake, cupcakes,
gifts, cups etc.)

D. Analysis All objects that you've mentioned and other things or


objects around us are called matter. Examples table,
chairs, chalkboard, paper, notebook, etc.
Do you know that different matters have different colors?
E. Abstraction Show some pictures. Have the pupils observe each
picture focusing on their colors. Let them describe the
object according to its color. Let them compare two
objects by looking at their colors. Tell whether they have
the same or different colors.

There are many ways to describe the things around you.


You can describe them by looking at their color. Color is
one characteristic of objects. It makes things different or
similar to each other. Some objects are red. Others are
green, yellow or blue.
G. Application Group Activity
Let the pupils play the game "Bring Me". Ask them to
look for objects according to the color assigned to them
and let them place in a basket or any container where
they can place the objects. Count the objects afterwards.
The group with the most number of objects wins.
(minimum time is 30 seconds.

H. Practical Applications of Draw and color the following objects with the correct
