RC -16 Observations by ARAMCO Compliance Team

 Launching Pit:
 Scaffolding Supervisor Qualification ( Certificate and Level ) must be
checked and provided.
 Scaffolding planks needs to be aligned in good position with the pipe
support.
 Drop bar for the scaffolding must be replaced and keep apart from
the working platform.
 Large size Concrete Stones should be removed from the excavation
edge.
 Reallocate the control cabin from the excavation edge and keep at
least 1 meter apart.
 Arrange the power electrical cables and put in proper hard
barrication with safety signage.
 The electrical cable connector must be inspected and verified as per
standard.
 Emergency Buzzer Alarm must be installed inside the launching pit.
 Refill the gaps for concrete barricade around launching pit.
 Gas Cylinders storage for Acetylene and Oxygen Cylinder must be
properly chained, locked and put in trolley.These cylinder must be
inspected before use.
 Provide specific inspection for Hydraulic Power Pack ,feed pumps,
the site.
 Store room.
 Remove the damage electrical cables and web slings.
 Inspection of full body harness is required as per ANSI standards and
certificate to be provided.

 Operator Control Cabin

 Window Glasses are found damaged. These must be replaced with
new ones for the good visibility.
 CCTV cameras must be installed at launching pit for proper
monitoring from the control cabin.
 Operator is found without ARC flash clothing inside the control
cabin.
 Unwanted materials and damages power sockets from cabin should
be removed and replaced.
 First Aid kit needs to be update with proper medical items with valid
date

 Generator.
 Signage for ARC flash and *emergency switch button* must be
provided at site.
 Electrical Cables inside generator are exposed and uncovered. These
must be properly covered.

 Environmental
 The Toilet must be provided for the welfare facility.
 Tires and general waste must be removed from site.
