There is a lot of treats that Filipinos is way different from other cultures. The
country itself is different from others, Philippine archipelago are consisting 7,640
islands. Philippines is known for a lot of names because having a lot of beauty for both
land and people. Philippines has a variety of tourist spots and foods that everyone could
enjoy. When you are in the Philippines you may meet many different kinds of people
but, I am sure that they will welcome you with open arms. You’ll experience the roller
coaster adventure here in the in the Pearl of the Orient Seas.
Filipinos has a lot of beliefs some of this beliefs are superstitious, where widely
practiced by most of the Filipinos even still today. Following those beliefs show the
Honor and Respect to the ancestors. Superstitious beliefs is also one of the traditions
that has been taught while growing up. Also beliefs about their religion. The Philippines
is the only Christian nation in Asia that has more than 86 percent of the population is

dancing in their cities. Like in Cebu they have Sinulog every 3rd Sunday of January.
The Sinulog is a dance ritual in honor of the miraculous image of the Santo Nino. The
other Filipino has a other festivals like in Aklan. They also have festival called Ati-atihan
which means "to pretend or to be like an atis". The Ati-atihan will celebrate with dark-
skin like the Atis or Aetas. There are also other Festivals in the other cities of the

saying Po and Opo when we are talking to our elders. The we called bless or
Pagmamano where we raise the back of the hand of the elders to our forehead as also
a sign of respect. That is why we Filipinos are known as being respectful even to the
different races of people around the world. Filipino are known for being welcoming and
friendly so much respect to elderlies is one of the Filipino culture and values that the
Filipinos are family oriented and often religious with an appreciation for art, fashion ,
music and food. Filipinos are very resilient and Filipinos are very respectful and very
religious. However as globalization takes over our colonial past this tradition are slowly
dying down. Key values such fellowship respect and acceptance are found throughout
the culture with Filipinos displaying a warning and hospitable demeanor. The cultural
that value that i am proud of being Filipino is the Bayanihan it is about communal
solidarity and assisting others without expecting anything to reach a common purpose.
When you look at the traits of Filipinos based on their social media personas, they are
chaotic. They tend to make memes out of situations that are not meant to be

showcased. Patriotism is also absent in these platforms. Filipinos are using their
“Freedom of Speech” to bring down their co-Filipinos in whatever aspect it is. I don't get
why most Filipinos complain about the movement or progress of the country. They put
all the burden on the government. Even young people who don't have enough
knowledge on these things want to be involved in the issues. It may sound cheesy, but
to help improve this country. We must first love it. Like how loving others starts from Self
Love. We must be contented on what we have and not set our minds in the progress of
other countries. We shouldn't blame the government or anyone. We are all citizens of
On the bright side of things, Filipinos are respectful and kind. We are very
hospitable in person. We love accepting tourists and showing them the beauty of this
place. Filipinos are also sincere when they love somebody. We are overall caring,
loving, and behind the screens, we are doing our best to help one another. I also love
how Filipinos become very happy when our country is mentioned by Foreigners. I love
my country wholeheartedly even though I don't see myself residing in this place until I
am grey and old. The world is a very big place. This country is beautiful but in this single
lifetime I want to indulge myself and go to different places and meet different races.
It's typical to see three generations residing in one Filipino home. Grandparents
frequently reside close to one another and meet together for significant holidays. In the

Philippines, it's typical for some family members to spend the weekends at home after
Families serve as the cornerstone of social life for most Filipinos. Although the nuclear
family is the fundamental unit of the family, relationships between members of the
extended family are often very strong. You can persuade them to view their
relationships with their aunts and uncles as equal to those with their parents. In addition
to those with whom one shares genetic links or bloodlines, close family ties frequently
include coworkers, distant relatives, and relatives. For instance, it is common to hear
people refer to non-relatives or distant relatives by using familial names such "lolo"
(grandmother), "lola" (grandmother), and "tita" (aunt) (grandfather). One such instance

Many Filipinos believe that each family member is responsible for a number of
obligations. To properly respect others and to maintain harmony within the family, it's
crucial to carry out one's obligations. For instance, family members must always treat
their elders with respect. Children's and younger family members' opinions are regarded
