1. The recommended title by the panel is “The soft power influence of selected Thai BL movies.”
2. Changes on the Problem Statement are as follows:
1. The research investigates the soft power influences of the Thai Boys’ Love movies
among Filipino viewers.
2. Specifically, it addresses the following considerations:
i. Plot
ii. Characters
iii. Themes
iv. Symbolisms
3. Sociocultural influences on:
i. Fashion
ii. Music
iii. Food
iv. LGBTQIA+ empowerment
v. Product consumption
4. Blog creation on the Thai Boys’ Love movies
3. The 10 Thai series are now changed in to 3 selected Thai Boys’ Love movies.
4. The paper should be in MLA.
5. For the sources of data, include full information about the selected movies and include the
explanation on the rationale as to why these are chosen.
6. For the Data-gathering procedure, the study will now have three phases. Phase 1 is for the
textual analysis of the three movies. One table per movie containing all the literary elements
needed. Phase 2 is for the sociocultural influence. Phase 3 focuses on the explanation or
narrative about the blog.

7. The paper must follow the papers given by CNU Ethics Committee
8. On the methodology, add Data Analysis part. In addition, add research respondents and their
environment.
9. The panel suggested that the conceptual framework be revised into 4 levels.
10. The implication of the results shall be included in the discussion.
