Kitchen Appliance Accessory Proposal

We propose that to improve the look and function of the average kitchen, our new device, the
[Fab]let, should become a common household accessory. The [Fab]let will be capable of
controlling all kitchen appliances on one elegant screen. The [Fab]let is fabricated from
sophisticated carbon fiber composites, glass, and a high resolution OLED touch screen, giving it
a strikingly simple and appealing look. This kitchen accessory will enable you to control and
monitor all kitchen appliances from one simple interface. The [Fab]let has a 500ft coverage
radius from its base station that allows you to conveniently control your kitchen from anywhere
in your home. It will allow you to preheat your oven, change the temperature in your
refrigerator, and start your dishwasher as well. It will have time, temperature, and cycle
settings for all of the appliances so as to not have to go to each one and set them manually. This
will thus lead to much better efficiency for the homeowner and allow them to not have to take
as much time to configure each machine separately. The device will also notify the homeowner
when the appliances have finished their tasks allowing them to take further steps to finish the
job at hand.
