    1) Search for the economic system of Laos PDR.

    2) Compare the Laotian system with one of the following countries: China, USA, India, Thailand, or
    Mexico. Remember to look up its own economic system in advance.

    3) Discuss what resources are managed by the government in Laos PDR and in the chosen country.

    4)Mines, gas, oil, crops, and medicine production could be managed privately and publicly, depending
    on the economic system (free market, planned or mixed). Explain some of the reasons for this decision
    taken in Laos and in the country of your choice.
