Background Information
A. Rationale of the Program/Activity

Pursuant to School Memorandum No.17 series of 2022 this school

shall conduct the 2022 Aldea Elementary School Festival of Talents (Fruit
and Vegetable Carving) via Google Meet in preparation for the 2022 District
Festival of Talents (Fruit and Vegetable Carving to be held on May 20, 2022
at Balimbing Elementary School.

B. Objectives of the Activity

The festival of talents aims to:

 provide opportunity for Grades 4-6 learners to showcase their talents

and skills through exhibition of their products and performances (fruit
and vegetable carving).
 to equip Grades 4-6 learners the necessary competencies in the
various area in EPP/TLE.

C. Expected Outcome and Results

 The learners will develope their creativity and skills in fruit and
vegetable carving.

Highlights of the Activity

A. Preliminary Activities
The activity started at 9:00 in the morning; and was hosted by
Ms. Jenina S.A. Digma. The opening program started with the singing of
National Anthem, followed by a prayer led by Ms. Janice G. Felipe.
CALABARZON March, Mabuhay Rizal and Tanay Dakila was played with
pride. Deped Vision, Mission and Core Values was led by Ms. Jessa Jane
Lentija. An Opening Remarks was given by Dr. Lyn P. Sanchez, principal of
Aldea Elementary School. She has given words of encouragement to all the
Grades 4-6 participants. Then, checking of attendance was led by Mr.
Jonathan Castaloni. Mrs. Jesrille Ann B. Vidal facilitated the energizer to
increase the energy level of the participants. Mrs. Chargie S.J. Anterola
delivered her inspiring words that enlightened the morning of everyone.
Lastly Ms. Elaine Marie R. Reyes presented the rationale/objectives of the
program.

B. Key Learning and Output

Students from grade four to six showed their skill and talent for
carving with fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes,
apples and carrots. The children were truly creative. They created a variety

of images by carving out the fruits and vegetables they used. The apple
became crab, cucumber and tomato becomes a flower. And after they show
their skils in carving fruits and vegetables each participant was given a
certificate of participation and the winner came from grade four.

C. Synthesis and Closing

The closing program started with the singing of Pilipinas Kong
Mahal, followed by a prayer led by Mrs. Iren B. Miro. Awarding of
certificates was facilitated by Mrs. Aniriza V. Lagarde. Finally the closing
remarks was given by Mr. Gerald Don B. Galupo.
