*In many workplaces online communication is now more common than face-to-

face meetings

We are living in an era of modern technology so online communication is more

prevalent than face-to-face meetings in many companies. Although it brings
many disadvantages, its advantages are still more significant
The advantages of online communication are varied. First, in the situation of
Covid -19 epidemic complicated, online meetings became even more common.
It can help people avoid physical contact between people and reduce the
likelihood of spreading the disease. Second, it is an advantage for domestic
companies with foreign investment, they often have to meet to discuss work
with the opponent, so online meeting is an advantage for them. This will help
them not need to spend too much money and time to arrange a face-to-face
meeting, but just opening an online meeting link, everything will be simpler.
Moreover, the details of the meetings are often recorded and stored, which will
help reduce any misleading information.
There are two main drawbacks of online communication. To begin, electronic
communication can occasionally lack emotion or feeling or be misinterpreted,
which can lead to conflict between colleagues. The problem can only be solved
if the conversation goes face to face with a sincere smile. Furthermore due to
problems like a slow or unstable internet connection, communication over the
internet can occasionally be unreliable. As a result, productivity may suffer and
correspondence may be lost or deleted.
In conclusion, while there are some emotional and signal disadvantages, they
are still overshadowed by the pros. and I think that using the internet for
communication is generally a good thing because it allows businesses to save a
lot of time and money and even help society during a dangerous pandemic
dangerous.
