Good evening, people.

Back with me, Sandra Liem in Great News. This time we will be

delivering the news of traffic jam which often becomes a major
problem for big cities in Indonesia, including the capital city, Jakarta.
On a typical day the volume of vehicles is increasing, especially
during the long weekend. The congestion occurs in many parts of
Jakarta, and Kota Casablanca has it worst.

The congestion is also followed by heavy rain that flushes the area

and the surroundings starting from this afternoon at 4 p.m. that
affects the congestion to get worse. Big rain also falls in the west part
of Jakarta and already causes flood. It’s flooded to a height of 30 cm
and disrupts the road users. It can be dangerous especially
for motorcycle riders. The police officers are going down to help with
the traffic.

And that was the news for this evening,

Follow the next update in Great News one hour ahead. I am Sandra
Liem, good evening and see you.

Militants in North-western Pakistan have killed nine family members of a slain leader
of a pro-government militia, including at least two children, police said Wednesday.
About twenty to twenty-five militants attacked the family's house on the outskirts of
the city of Peshawar early Wednesday, said Najeeb ur Rehman, a senior police
official.
The attackers took the male members of the family outside and locked the female
members inside, said Rahim Shah, another senior police official. They then
proceeded to killed all the male family members, including two boys aged eight and
ten, he said.
Those killed were relatives of Zafar Khan, the chief of a local peace committee and
member of a special police force, who was killed last week in a clash with militants.
The skirmish last week left one militant dead.
Local peace committees are volunteer pro-government militias that fight to drive
militants out of their areas.
The militants who attacked the family's house have not been captured, Rehman said,
and there has been no claim of responsibility for the attack.
