ROTARACT: MEMOIRE

BY: ROSE ANNE C. MANGUBAT BSA - IV Rotary Year 2010 2011 marks a significant history of our very own Rotaract Club of Santa Isabel College! Although our club started in June 28, 2008, Rotary International recognized our club in August 11, 2010 during my global year. Our history as an organization started with a meeting held on our first year, and we are now commencing a three years of service for Rotaract as an organization. All of us want this year of service to be even more successful than the last. Therefore, this is an opportune time to ask: are we taking the right steps to ensure that success? Are we doing the right things? Do we have a clear vision of the future? As a Rotaract Club of Santa Isabel College 2 nd president, I believe we are moving in the right direction. As a matter of fact, we are very blessed during the year. There so many things to be thankful for: 1. Rotaract Club of Santa Isabel College received its recognition to the Rotary International last August 2010. 2. Past Presidents of our Club are now serving as District officers Christian G. Amador - Rotaract District Committee Auditor

Our club received nine awards during the Awards Night of Rotaract District 3810 including Rotaract Clubs from Pasay, Cavite, Manila and Occidental Mindoro. a. In line with this, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to those who helped me to achieve these recognitions for our club. It will not be possible without our Club Adviser Ms. Elsie O. Punongbayan Thank you for believing and for the opportunity that you have given me to handle this club. To our Rotary Club of Bagumbayan Manila headed by Global President Juanito Boy Kaw, to our dedicated club members and most especially to our responsible officers (Romeo P. Pelarco and Jayson Sumayang) who gave their 100 % support to me and for the club ever since they become part of this organization. They never let me down. A Zillion thanks to each and everyone.

I firmly believe that if we help our club to become better and bolder, then the club will become bigger both because of the increased pride and the increased awareness of our prospective club members. Therefore, my goal is to help this years officers of our club and clubs within the District 3810 to become Bigger, Better and Bolder! Despite of the fact that I will leave now my position as a President of our club I know and I believe that Rotaract Club of Santa Isabel College is now in good hands. Romeo P. Pelarco Jr. of BSHRM Change maker President and with the help of Jayson Sumayang as one of the loyal member of this club and his set of officers and members will now lead the way to another success for our club. Get to know them and be one of us! I may now say First reach within yourself, and then move on confidently, firmly, toward the targets you have set for yourselves. Discover yourselves, develop the strengths within you, and then unhesitatingly, unflinchingly, go forth and encircle the world, to embrace the humanity. And that, my brothers and sisters in Rotaract, let us all be in line with Rotary theme: Reach within to embrace Humanity
