1. Read the definition of urban tribes and check that you understand it. Then match the urban tribes in the box
to the pictures.

An urban tribe is a group of people who have a strong identify. They express their identify through their clothes, their
style, and often the music that they listen to.

2. Read about Jim and David. Why do they like being part of their urban tribe?
3. Copy and complete in your notebook the table with the information about skaters and floggers.

8. Copy and complete the table in your notebook with the adjectives in the box. Write the comparative and
superlative form. (recuerda que para hacer oraciones en forma comparativa se usa er después del adjetivo para
indicar mas ejemplo.. ella es mas alta que Sofia she is taller than sofia y cuando los adjetivos son tienen mas de
dos silabas se debe colocar more antes del adjetivo ejemplo: Juan es más inteligente que Jhon –Juan is more
intelligent than Jhon. En el caso del uso de los superlativos que hace referencia a lo más, se agrega a los
adjetivos est para referirse al más. Ejemplo: Lina es la mas alta del salón – Lina is the tallest of classrooom.
Cuando se usan adjetivos de más de dos silabas usamos the most ejemplo: ella es la mas inteligente, she is the
most intelligent.)

 What activities are there: in the morning- in the afternoon- in the evening?
 Where are people going to sleep?
 What special activities are there at night or at the weekend?
 What equipment do people need to bring?

11. Create a Poster for you camp, include the information from exercise 10, include pictures.
