REFLECTIVE ANAYSIS

Special and Inclusive Education in the Philippines plays a vital role in every

people lives specially on learners with disabilities to deliver an effective and quality

education that is appropriate for them, and that would help them to develop their skills

and capabilities despite of their disabilities. The Philippine Government has been

working for programs that would be able to support Special and Inclusive Education

which is in need since the percentage of disabilities here in Philippines are continuously

increasing, this is to ensure also that all the learners having disabilities has a right to

access and opportunity to have quality and effective education. Special and Inclusive

Education in the Philippines is responsible for breaking a foundation of barriers between

the normal people and people who have disabilities inside the Country since we need to

work as one, we need to help as one and be conditioned that they are part also of this

wide and broad society, they have also a big part and a vital role to play. Those Programs

supported by the Philippine Government would be able to encourage learners, families

and even the people on the communities for active participation in supporting the

education and needs of learners who have disabilities. The Problem that I only see on the

Special and Inclusive education in the Philippines is that it is lacked when it comes on the

instructional materials and also facilities which is need for effective education, there are

also many schools here in the Philippines but only few schools have facilities and has

instructional materials for Special and Inclusive Education. Hoping that law signed by

Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte which is the Republic act 11650 would be

implemented effectively so that all of the children with disabilities has an opportunities
access for effective and quality Education and the problems encountered by Special and

Inclusive education in Philippines would addressed.
