Futuristic Approach

• Subject of the artwork: What is it all about?

This artwork describes a "futuristic approach" wherein, it shows that art evolves
throughout the years. This photo was taken when my friend is doing her plates at home.
As you can see, different materials were used in the photo. This explains that as time goes
by, the techniques also change. It describes an innovation that portrays that art as an
expression of human creative skills and emotions.
• Content of the artwork: What do you think the artist wanted to communicate? - Is it
factual, conventional, or subjective?

The artwork has both factual and subjective meaning. It is factual because it fully
communicates to the audience the message and significance of the art itself. As we can
see in the photo, it portrays that in today's era, majority of individuals create their artwork
on canvas and other types of art materials. On the other hand, it is subjective because the
viewer's perspective on the artwork may lead to multiple meanings. With regards to
coffee, this shows that coffee is one of the sources of energy and serves as a comfort zone
for those people who are sad, tired, and exhausted. Through this, we can express
ourselves which allows us to understand and inspire other people.
• If you could change one thing about this picture, what would it be? Why?

I won't have to make any changes to the image, but I will add a new idea or graphic. I'll
add some of the old pieces or various materials that were used in the past. With these,
we can really see the differences and how art evolves in our society.

• What would the title be if you had created this?

I will call it "Metanoia." Innovation or "changing in one's life" are both aspects of
metanoia. With this, it clarifies the image by showing how art evolves and how we may
create a distinctive piece of art each time. The photo's inclusion of various painting
materials and the visual significance of coffee both signify innovation and change. The act
of creation by an artist, wherein the artwork develops line by line as a result of a wide
range of ideas and experiences, is also referred to as metanoia.

• What prompted you to select this image over other artworks?

I chose this photo since it caught my attention. It is important to consider the artwork's
direct and hidden messages in addition to how wonderful it is. We can easily relate to this
image, especially in the modern period, as the majority of us have gone through what the
artwork depicts.
