Presentation outline
• Comparisons will be made between Priolube 3997 and bright stock 150
• You will see images from oven tests, as well as oxidation stability results
• The differences between the oil’s colour and the results on rapidoxy
equipment will be compared
• Good performance on the rapidoxy equipment does not necessarily
translate into low deposit, sludge or varnish formation.
Value Proposition

Priolube™ 3997 addresses the need for a high performance bright stock replacement.
The product offers a good VI increase with high thickening power at low addition rates.
We demonstrate high lubricity with a measurable reduction in coefficient of friction
compared to a bright stock alternative. Priolube 3997 also reduces the potential for
deposit, sludge and varnish formation compared to a bright stock alternative in group I
and II base oils.
