2. Identify the problems besetting (constant problem) the livestock/poultry industry of the country today.

Numerous issues with duck farming and duck production were faced by the majority of duck farmers. The ducks were more susceptible to illnesses and diseases related to the
climate since they were utilizing a variety of breeds that were not adapted to the environment of the Philippines. Additionally, the stock's productivity and mortality dropped as a
result of this. The expense and availability of feeds for both the free-range and confinement farming methods were also a challenge for the farmers. While the cost of
commercial feeds kept rising over time, the cost of duck eggs remained stable. Additionally, egg quality became into a significant issue. Diseases caused by the climate had an
impact on egg size. Other issues that the duck farmers ran into included a lack of funding, supplies for duck replacement stock, farm infrastructure, and egg processing, among
others. One of the main problems in the Philippines' duck egg industry has been identified as a shortage of high-quality breeding stocks. This is brought on by the absence of
specialized breeding farms and hatcheries in the nation.

The following Problems were determined:

1) Typhoons and calamities.

2) High Priced Quality Feeds.

3) Decreasing supply of feeds due to pollution and contamination on water.

4) Lack of market intelligence.

5) H5N6 avian influenza or bird flu

8) Harsh weather conditions will result in ducks getting sick, which may sometimes also lead to death.
