13 – 15 FEBRUARY 2023 | CAIRO, EGYPT January 2023

WELCOME FROM THE ORGANISER OF THE

EGYPT PETROLEUM SHOW
Hosted under the patronage of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, we are
delighted to be returning to Cairo from 13-15 February for the sixth edition of North Africa and the Mediterranean’s
most important oil, gas and energy Show, EGYPS 2023.

As we look ahead to next month, the EGYPS Conferences are gearing up to drive the conversation on both energy
transition and energy security globally with our speakers providing their unrestricted insights.

Each year the EGYPS Conference programmes provide a forum for government, policy, industry leaders, engineers,
and technical experts to exchange thought leadership and forward focused strategies related to current market
needs and this year is no exception. Over 260 speakers will be joining us in Cairo across five dedicated programmes
covering Strategic, Technical, Finance, and Investment in Energy, Equality in Energy, and Sustainability in Energy
topics to take part in more than 65-panel discussions with over two thousand delegates in attendance.

The EGYPS 2023 official Opening Ceremony culminates with the first day of the Strategic Conference with sessions
and panel discussions welcoming prominent global ministers, CEOs and industry executives from the world’s largest
energy and service provider companies. Sessions will focus on geopolitical and global economies, energy transition
Salman Abou Hamzeh and energy solutions, and the next generation of oil, gas and energy ecosystems with key importance on immediate
Vice President supply and demand dynamics.
Energy, Middle East
The Finance and Investment in Energy Conference will centre on sustainable growth models across the industry and
the energy value chain. Panel participants will examine partnership models for new energy investment, the changing
geopolitical landscape and its impact on the industry, and the equilibrium between ESG, energy security, and net-
zero targets.

Meeting the industry’s growing climate conscious commitments, the Sustainability in Energy Conference will explore the rise of CSR, ESG and HSE, with
global sustainability and energy transition thought leaders detailing how their businesses are improving global environmental, social, and health and safety
efforts while achieving sustainable development goals.

In line with industry needs, the Equality in Energy Conference has changed focus this year with renewed emphasis upon defining the workforce and workplace
of the future. Change management, diversity, and inclusion specialists will be on hand to showcase how they are driving agendas within their businesses to
create diverse equal, and inclusive workplaces, based on transparency and clear career progression practices.

The backbone of EGYPS, our three-day Technical Conference, reconvenes bringing together over 180 technical expert speakers at 45 sessions. The technical
sessions created from a global industry-wide call for papers campaign and a two-stage Technical Committee review, comprising over 80 industry specialists.
Next month, our technical expert speakers will share their technological breakthroughs, and research while discussing the acute need for innovation to
overcome industrywide challenges across 19 categories and technical disciplines.

In supporting the progression of excellence throughout the oil, gas and energy industry, we are proud to be hosting two prestigious Awards Ceremonies, the
Sustainability in Energy Awards taking place on Tuesday, 14 February and the Equality in Energy Awards taking place on Wednesday 15 February 2023.

Having received an exceptional mix of global and regional entries across eight categories and following an unbiased two-stage jury evaluation and review
process that culminated with 41 shortlisted entrant face-to-face interviews. We are now really excited to shine the spotlight on the winners and wish the 30
finalists across all categories the very best of luck on the day. In the meantime, take a look at the category finalists www.egyps.com/awards

New features to the EGYPS exhibition include a series of programmes that offer specialised networking opportunities and sectorised knowledge sharing.
The Offshore and Marine Zone, will explore new opportunities for the maritime energy industry. The Digitisation in Energy Zone will highlight modernisation
and digital transformation solutions and services.

The Youth Engagement Programme and the Young Professionals feature provide the opportunity for school and university students to visit the Show
and learn more about future careers within the industry. It also offers industry executives the platform to engage, inspire and empower today’s youth
encouraging the industry’s next generation.

With an expected attendance of over 32,000 attendees, 500 exhibitors and 12 country pavilions, the EGYPS 2023 exhibition will bring together regional
and global exhibitors, looking to explore entry into new markets, to connect with key industry buyers and to meet the regions project leaders and decision
makers to secure future business.

With the countdown to EGYPS 2023 now on, we look forward to welcoming you to Cairo next month where we can collectively work towards creating a
sustainable climate-conscious future for our industry, pivoting from more traditional oil and gas operations and businesses to next generation energy
solutions that embrace commitment to energy transition and a net-zero future.

STRATEGIC
CONFERENCE
14 – 15 FEBRUARY 2022 | EGYPT INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTER

Monday 13 - Tuesday 14 February 2023

With the extent of current geopolitical tensions and unprecedented sanctions in place against the world’s largest exporter of natural
gas, it’s no longer just energy transition and the climate debate setting the industry’s pace of change.
Globally, both powerhouse and emerging economies are feeling the consequences with inflation and recession risks at an all-time high.
This has however not stopped but escalated the speed and need for transitioning to a new global energy system, one that combats
climate change and reduces reliance on single energy sources.

As the industry moves from climate commitments to actions and continues efforts to decarbonise its oil and gas operations, the
reshaping of markets, driven by new geographical supply and demand dynamics, continues at pace.

It is without doubt, that the global energy landscape must continue to evolve. Companies must embrace and reinvent their business
models. Tough choices on how, where and what they focus upon must be made. Fair and equitable energy must be made available
for all. Access to both hydrocarbon and clean energy investment and funding must be a priority globally. Technology deployment
and transfer, infrastructure and capacity building must not be left behind. The much-needed multi-generational workforce skills and
talents must be retained and attracted. Last but not least, transparent and action-oriented leaders and management teams must
manage through the new realities of a forever changed global energy landscape.

STRATEGIC CONFERENCE PILLARS

Set against a backdrop of three distinct pillars, the Strategic Conference provides a deep dive and unrestricted insights on pivoting from
traditional oil and gas operations and businesses to next generation energy solutions amidst present-day geopolitical constraints and
economic concerns globally.
