As a goal driven and dedicated Clinical Officer, I am passionate about treating people back to health
through diagnosis and proper care. I am dedicated to ensuring that professional medical healthcare
is given to all the patients under my care. With professional experience under my belt, I have
excelled in; clinical monitoring of patients, diagnosing, treating and performing minor surgeries,
ensuring Quality health service delivery at facilities, coordinating information and counseling, health
education and health promotion and facilitating screening, diagnosis and treatment of patients. In
addition, I have also successfully provided HIV testing and counseling services. My passion is to
further advance in my career and to participate in providing proper and professional medical care to
patients and offering psychological help to families of patients.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

 Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery- Mount Kenya University; 2010 to 2013.
 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education- St. Mary’s Girl’s Secondary School; 2004 to
2007.

 Clinical Care: An expert in performing complete physical assessments, handling appropriate


laboratory or other diagnostic works and documenting findings and planning for care.
 Medical diagnosis: Skilled in clerking patients, performing relevant investigations and
guiding them accordingly in regard to diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
 Counseling skills: Knowledgeable and passionate about offering guidance and counseling to
patients and their families on health seeking behaviors, self-care skills, and treatment
option.
 Monitoring: Ability and experienced in monitoring, interpretation and recording of vital
signs and also successfully monitoring patient progress and communicating appropriately in
any complication or change in their condition to the doctor.

 Equipment Usage: I have proficiency in using equipment like; Oxygen concentrators and
cylinders, O2 delivery devices; nasal cannula, masks, Nasal gastric tubes, Nebulizer for
administering treatment in vapor form as inhalation.
 Administration of Medical Procedures: An expert in administering oxygen and prescribing
drugs through infusions such as inotropes, antibiotics, sedatives such as morphine, and also
administering any other prescribed medication.
 Team working skills: Experienced in working with a team of nurses and doctors
collaboratively in order to ensure the promotion of proper and professional healthcare
services to patients.
 First aid skills: Knowledge of first aid basics and can hence tend to any accidents or
illnesses in case any such incident happens.
