Technologies and Multimedia

- This is an important characteristic suggests that in order to maximize learning enhancement,

your school will need to provide and employ computers and other types of multimedia
technology. As part of a larger "technology strategy," training is also required for teachers who
utilize technology.

2. Project-Based and Research-Driven

- The emphasis on data, information, and evidence-based decision making is one of the critical
characteristics of education in the twenty-first century. In order to promote active learning, it
largely focuses on student-driven activities. This suggests that instructors in the twenty-first
century need to be familiar with research in order to guide their students' learning through
independent tasks like learning projects both within and outside of the classroom. Examples of
student research-based projects may be found in the various science fairs around Southeast Asia
and the rest of the world.

3. Integrated and Interdisciplinary

- This important characteristic suggests that teachers should assess the curriculum and find
efficient ways to connect various disciplines in order to improve students' learning experiences.

2. They should also develop these skills, these skills include, among others, problem-solving and
decision-making capabilities, critical and creative thinking abilities, and ICT literacy and skills. Before you
can assist your learners in acquiring these 21st century abilities, you as a teacher must already possess
them.

Learning through doing - The main idea of the "learning through doing" method is that active learning,
as opposed to passive learning, greatly improves our capacity for information acquisition, memory, and
application.

Data-Rich – Revision of curriculum, teaching, and resources is made simple by the availability of
consistent, "highly consumable" data, as well as scheduled data sources.

Community Relationships - Incredibly helpful people who are much better teachers and role models for
our learners than we are, exist in our communities. Teachers are aware that they are not all-knowing
experts. However, there is an expert on every subject in the world. Therefore, educators must look for
and welcome experts into the classroom. We can improve the learning environment for our learners by
using the knowledge and skills of the community.

Rethinking Learner and Teacher Roles - In the 21st Century, classrooms have changed from being
teacher-centered to student-centered. the roles of both the teacher and the student have changed:

The teacher and the learners are now co-learners. The atmosphere may still need to be within the
teacher's control in order to be secure and beneficial to learning. The teacher still has a lot of control on
the classroom's atmosphere. Teachers are no longer the only experts in their subjects, though. Instead,
it is their responsibility to assist students while they learn through active processes.

Instead of listening, students learn by doing. Students must use their critical thinking and creative
abilities to make their own decisions because the teacher is no longer the ultimate source of knowledge.

Technology - Today's schools may certainly benefit from modern technologies. You'll be shocked by how
much has changed in only a decade if you go into a classroom right now. There is technology
everywhere. It's crucial to employ modern educational technology properly. Students should use
technology to get knowledge or think in ways they otherwise couldn't.
