I have a subscription to Cinema Max Magazine, and I recently had a chance to read the article you
wrote titled “Classic Movies: The Yellow Canary”. For the most part, I really enjoyed your piece,
especially the way you described the film’s long and difficult production process. Other aspects,
however, were not detailed accurately. — [1] —. You wrote that William Goldsmith was the sole
screenwriter of “The Yellow Canary”, but although he did play a large role in the writing, he was one
of three screenwriters who collaborated on the project. — [2] —. Tom Cartwright and Bruce Hearns
originally penned the screenplay for the film. The reason I am aware of this is because I played
the part of Kathy Bynes in “The Yellow Canary”, in my first ever acting role, and I had frequent
meetings with the writing team, including Mr. Goldsmith. — [3] —. Although you may think this
is an insignificant detail, I feel that the other writers of “The Yellow Canary” deserve credit, too. In
particular, Mr. Hearns’ contribution is too often overlooked. — [4] —.

As with other companies involved with the program, Steelman has been praised by local residents for
its commitment to cutting down on pollution in the local area. In accordance with the conditions of
the program, Steelman made great efforts to reduce emissions by switching to machines with higher
energy efficiency.
Steelman’s CEO, Ken Milano, is delighted with the results. “When the factory was first constructed
five years ago, we were using inefficient machinery that created a high volume of toxic emissions.
But, since becoming involved with the program, we’ve changed our approach for the better, and we’re
happy to be limiting damage to our surrounding ecosystems.”
Steelman Corporation currently employs more than one thousand employees at its Boston plant and is

many renowned guitar players, such as Stevie Noonan of the band Wyld Fyre.
Mobius guitar strings must be properly maintained in order to prolong their lifespan. When you do not
have them attached to an instrument, avoid storing them in a humid environment, as this will quickly
result in rust formation. Keeping them in a plastic bag is an easy way to prevent rust. On some guitar
models, dirt can build up on the strings and around the tuning pegs. With some broad tuning pegs,
you might need to clean the strings more often than expected, as such pegs can cause a build-up of dirt.
Smaller, more modern pegs tend to allow the strings to stay cleaner for longer. In all cases, use a dry
cloth to wipe the strings on a regular basis.
We provide a professional cleaning service at a reasonable price. If you wish to use this service, remove
your strings, place them in a plastic bag inside an envelope, and either mail them to or drop them off in
person at our business location at 308 Gilroy Street, Bracebridge, P1L 1R7.
Cleaning of six strings or less is a flat fee of $15.00. For each additional string, we charge an extra $5.
Cleaned strings will be returned by mail in approximately 7 to 10 days.
Dear sir/madam
I mailed my guitar strings to you for cleaning about three weeks ago, but have yet to receive
them back. Based on the information in your leaflet, I included a check for $25 for eight strings.
Please let me know how much longer the service will take. I mailed them to your Carnegie
Avenue location on September 6.
Best wishes,
Charles Wright

Questions 181-185 refer to the following e-mails .
E-Mail Message
Dear IT Desk:
Since your team finished installing the new retina scanners, I have been unable to access the
research labs on the fourth floor. Although my job here at Ozma Corporation rarely requires me to
visit the research labs, I do occasionally have business to conduct there. Being a project manager,
I would have assumed that I have full security clearance. I bumped into one of your workers in
the corridor and mentioned this issue to him. He advised me to contact you with my company
details. My employee identification number is 76254. I hope you can rectify this problem as soon
as possible. Thanks!
Tracy Kowalski
Thank you for contacting IT Services. Since you provided your name and the other necessary
information, I was able to confirm that you should indeed have full security clearance and be
able to access every area of our facility. Your retina scan from last year should still work on the
new scanners. Obviously an error has occurred, so I suggest doing another scan in Room 233
today at 1 P.M.
For future assistance, please provide your workstation number and I will be able to access all
of your details even more quickly. The number is marked on the floorplan posted next to the
elevator on each floor. Many IT-related issues are more easily dealt with when we can quickly
look up the employee based on their workstation number.
Also, the next time you require assistance, simply reach me at extension 202 on the company’s
internal line. If I’m not immediately available, just leave a message with your details and a
description of the problem.
Regards,
Frank Corrie

Assistant designer Patric Tarte today spoke at a press conference about the ill-fated launch of the RT
StellaV2.0. “I can confirm media reports that there is an issue with the battery mechanism, meaning
that some laptops are overheating. Our engineering team has worked tirelessly around the clock to
solve this problem, and we are now set to release Version 2.1. Anybody experiencing issues with their
notebook’s power unit can exchange it for the updated device or receive a full refund of the purchase
plus and shipping charge. To show our commitment to excellent customer service, we will pick up your
old computer from your home free of charge.”
To arrange pick-up, or to speak to one of their technical experts, please call 555-337-4373.
I have long been a customer of RT and enjoyed their high-quality products. This time has been no
different. I live in a modern townhouse with several floors, so there is a large distance between floors. I
am able to get online through my laptop even when up in the attic! I did not find the ProWrite software
to be intuitive to use at first, but have become used to it over time. I know that the manufacturers have
acknowledged a fault with this product. However, this is not something I have encountered and I am
very happy with it. In my view, this is another strong product from RT!

Questions 191-195 refer to the following e-mails and schedule.
Hi Don,
I’ve heard you’re going to be responsible for organizing our company training day this
year. As it’s your first time doing this, I thought I’d give you some hints. You’ll need to
send a schedule to all staff members ahead of the event. You will also need to check the
attendance of staff members on the day. I have already put together a list of all employees
expected to be there and have left this in the top drawer of your desk. On the day, you’ll
also need to hand out ID badges and allocations for the group projects that will take place.
I think it would be best for you to allocate people to groups with people they don’t already
know. That way, the projects can also be used as a morale building exercise.
I am looking forward to what should be a memorable event. See you on the day!
Gabby
Expected attendees: John Rashford, Sally Bramington, Paul Newman, Ryan Renning, Holly Valencia,
Jose Censako, Tracey Truman, Gabby Davidson, Brian Wellington
As many of you are aware, Ursula Pietersen is currently away on annual leave. As such, Sally Bramington
will be responsible for sourcing the caterers to provide our midday meal.
Don,
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule in order to organize this year’s
training event. I also really appreciate your sending round a schedule of the day to
everyone.
I just wanted to get in touch with regards to a few things. Mr. Wellington should also be
involved in the 11:00am talk, as he also attended that seminar. I feel his insight will be
invaluable to the group. Also, I feel it would be best if we allowed people to choose their
own groupings for the afternoon activities rather than allocating them. I’ve often found in
the past that staff often work better when allowed to do so.

Advantages
→ More evenly cooked and flavorful beef patties
→ Reduced risk of undercooking and food poisoning
→ Improved customer trust and satisfaction
I was very pleased that you were all able to join the grilling workshop yesterday. It’s not often that we
have an opportunity to invite you all to headquarters, so it was nice to see some familiar faces again.
As I mentioned during the workshop, we would like several Royale Burgers stores in our largest cities
to take part in a 20-week trial using the new equipment and procedures I presented to you. While the
trial is ongoing, I would like you to provide progress reports covering the effectiveness of the changes
and the response from both staff and customers. For this trial to work effectively, we need five stores
each from London and Birmingham, and at least three each from Manchester and Newcastle. These
stores will be required to replace the necessary equipment accordingly and follow the new cooking
guidelines, effective March 1.
Best regards,
Ron Weston
Director of Operations
Royale Burgers
Although cooking time for grilled products has risen, initial results indicate that the benefits greatly
outweigh the downsides. Staff involved in the trials have noted more uniform cooking of meat and highly
positive customer feedback. Kitchen workers at the Meadow Street branch in Manchester also noted the
increased convenience of automatic features. We will continue to monitor the findings presented during
the trial.
