Narrator: Siddhartha Gautama was born into the Sakya Tribe in Lumbini near the
town of Kapilavastu in the foothills of the Nepalese Himalayas. His father was
Suddhodana, an aristocratic chieftain, and his mother was Mahamaya, a Koliyan
Princess.

Monk 1: Yes your majesty, let us name your son Siddhartha which means wish
fulfilled.
Suddhodana: What do you think my queen?
Mahamaya: Yes, it is a beautiful name. Let’s name our son Sansiddartha.
