You will find in this document the instructions
for use of the house and some info for your stay.

Your arrival
in Veules-les-Roses
Remember to prepare for
your arrival and don’t arrive
unexpectedly!
This is important because we do
not live in the house (especially
when it is rented!) And even if we
are not far, it takes a few minutes
for us to arrive and also for us to be
available ...
There is no 24-hour 5-star
concierge at the entrance to Brise
de mer ;-)
Your arrival in the house is done
independently and thanks to
the key box. You must therefore
locate the house on the plan on
page 5 (no direct access to the
house by car, it is on a footpath).
Parking can sometimes be
complicated in Veules, think about
approaching the house to drop off
suitcases, children, accompanying
persons, then park a little further
away if you cannot find a place.

The principle of your stay to

THE BEDS

house and ... no Lavomatic on Veules-les-
Roses. We must go to Saint-Valéry-en-

TRADERS

house, a pharmacy, etc.

FISH & OYSTERS
Do not miss the fish sold by fishermen on
the beach. The sale starts every morning
at around nine o’clock. The oyster farmers
of Veules also offer their oysters from the

THE SEA
Bathing at high tide is better, the water is

the Veules, do not bathe facing the mouth

TIDES
There are tides in Veules! At low tide the
long sandy beach is unveiled. You will find

WALKS
Veules-les-Roses is made for walks! Small
or large, the possible walks are numerous.
The easiest, on the beach, is the one that
will take you to Sotteville-sur-Mer. When
you arrive at the beach turn right up the
stairs going up the cliff located 2.5km. You
can come back by the small path at the top
of the cliff.
You can even go further! to Saussemarre
and Saint-Aubin, count 3 to 4 kilometers
more.
When you turn left when arriving on the
beach, be careful, there is no opening in
the cliff before 8km. That is to say in Saint-
Valery-en-Caux. This walk is possible but
beware of tide times. If you are not used to
checking the tide schedule, do not hesitate
to ask for help.

WHERE EXACTLY TO FIND SEA BREEZE?
The path of the Abbot Retout (or Henri Maret road, it bears the two names ...) along the
Veules, it starts behind the Bakery, the house is about thirty meters on the left. The path is
pedestrian, cars can not get there.
