Participants will not be allowed to see lyrics while singing

Band Jam

Basic Rules:
Team entries of 5-8 are welcome.
This event comprises only one round.
Participants must report 1 hour before the competition.
Each Team will get maximum 25 minutes for their performance
inclusive of sound check(10 min).
Time for performance is subject to depend upon the total number of
participation and amount of time allotted for the event.
Each member of the band has to Register themselves.

Round 1

All participants must bring their own instruments and a basic drum
set will be provided there and in case of extra cymbal requirement
then teams must bring their own cymbal set.
Prerecorded sound/track is not allowed and if played then it will
result in direct disqualification of the team.
The decision of the judges will be final.

Judgement Criteria

Interpretation, Expression, Tempo, Phrasing, and Historically


appropriate style.
Intonation and touch.
Stage presence, choice of music.
Technique, articulation, Breathing, Rhythm, Facility and Accuracy.
Tone quality, Beauty, Control, Characteristic timbre.
Timing of completing the round.
Coordination among band members.
All the decisions made by the judge will be final and binding.

STEP UP (DANCE COMPETITION)

Basic Rules:
Individual entries of are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
The time limit of the performance must be between 2 mins- 3 mins.
Soundtracks must be submitted at least 2 days prior to the event.
Any kind of misbehavior will lead to immediate disqualification.
Songs can be selected on basis of personal preferences.

Round 1

The first round will be common to all the participants. Based on the
performance, top 4 participants will be selected for the second
round.

Round 2

In this round your floor space will be limited to 50%, but ensure your
steps are as powerful and energetic as if you were on a big dance
floor.

Judgement Criteria

The decision of the judges will be based on overall performance.


Including Choreography, Stage coverage, Expressions, Costumes,
execution , Originality and creativity etc.

Basic Rules:

This event comprises only one round.

Round 1

In this round you have to perform on the stage on the day of the
event.
The time limit for the performance will be 5 mins - 10 mins.
Songs can be selected on basis of personal preferences.

Dumb Show

Basic Rules:
Team entries of 3 are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Any kind of misbehavior will lead to immediate disqualification.

Round 1

In the performance, the participant with the headphone has to be


silent with no words as the word “dumb” goes.
Clues like lip-reading, humming songs, pointing, whispering, and
spelling are banned for the participant with the headphone.
Each individual in a team will be given at most two chances to listen
to the song.

Round 2

All members of the team has to put on the headphone and the song
will be played.
The coordinator will give a phrase to one member and that member
will pass on the phrase to another member of the team
The point will be given based on what the last member of the team
gets understood.
Judgement Criteria

The team with the maximum points will win the competition.
Tie Breaker Round- In case of a tie between two teams one additional
round will be played and the team who wins will be the winner.
The decision given by judges will be final.

Culture Test

Basic Rules:
Individual entries are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
Usage of web/internet is strictly restricted.
Only those who knows language other than Hindi and English are
allowed to participate (like Bengali, Marwari, Marathi, etc.)
Participants have to inform about their respective language and
culture to the coordinators after filling the form.
In case of any dispute, decision of the coordinators will be final.
Any team caught using unfair means will be immediately disqualified.

Round 1

A quiz related to your culture will be held.


Points will be awarded for every correct answer and leading teams
will qualify for further rounds.

Round 2

After the first elimination participants have to go through another


round of topic related quiz which will be revealed on the day of the
event by the coordinators.

Basic Rules:
Individual entries are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
This event will be for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Before the event, each participant must create an account on
"codingame.com".
Each participant should carry a working laptop in case of emergency.
This Coding Game will be all about the three modes described below:
Fastest Mode: As the name implies, the first person to solve the
problem wins.
Reverse Mode: The participant must identify the problem and
write the code using the sample test cases (input and output)
provided.
Shortest Mode: Writing concise code comes with language
proficiency; here, it tests your knowledge of available languages.
The person with the least number of characters in the code wins
(with the correct solution).
Each participant will be ranked by the leaderboard of each mode.
There are no chances of achieving the same ranks by two or more
participants.

Round 1
This round will consist of all the three modes described above.
Each mode will be of 15 minutes making this round 45 minutes.
After all the modes, the top 10 participants will be eligible for the
next round.

Round 2
It will have any one of the modes (described above) making it a 15-
minute round.
The top 2 participants (according to the leader board) will be awarded
1st and 2nd positions.

Timing of completing the rounds.
All the ranking of the participants on the leaderboard of CodinGame
is final.

RoboZuna (Robo Soccer)

Basic Rules:
Team entries of 2-4 are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
Only one participant should control the robot no player can be
exchanged in the middle of a match.
A robot can push or hit the ball. It cannot withhold or grab the ball.
The Dimensions of the Arena will be 7 feet long and 4 feet
wide(7ft*4ft). And the Goal opening will be 45cm wide.
Human interference (e.g., touching the robot) during the game is not
allowed.
Decisions of the judges and coordinators will be final.
Each team will get 2 timeouts that they can use to change the
batteries, change the operator for the robot, and fix/service the
robot.
The timeout will be of 2 minutes each.
The Team should bring their own tool kit and resources for the robot
(e.g., batteries, spare body parts, power supply, adapters, etc.)
Coordinators reserve the right to ask for an explanation of the robot.

Round 1
There will be no knockouts, but the teams will be ranked for round 2
based on the points that they earn.
Each match will be of 3min.
The pointing scheme:
Green Ball: 20 points
Orange Ball: 10 points
Pink Ball: 5 points
Only the balls that remains inside the goal after the round will be
considered during counting of points.

Round 2
This Round will be a knockout, only the winning team will go to next
level.
There will be 2 halves of 2min each.
Each team will only get 2 timeouts to make any changes.
Judgement Criteria

For round 1, judgment will be made on the basis of the number of


balls collected in the goal post after the round is over.
For round 2, judgment will be made on the basis of the number of
times the particular team does the goal.

Robot Specifications

The robot should have the dimensions of 30cm*25cm*20cm (Length,


Width, Height) ±5%. considering the front jaw also the part of robot.
Robot should not exceed 3 kg.
The robot can be wired, wireless or autonomous.
The robot should be self-powered with supply not exceeding 12V(on
board power supply), LiPo Battery or from source using Adapter.
Only one participant should control the robot no player can be
exchanged in the match.
The front jaw of the robot should be fixed and non-powered.
Both low and high torque DC motors can be used.

Blank Coding
Basic Rules:
Individual entries of are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
Each Participants must have working laptop in order to participate in
event.
This event will be about 1.30 Hours.
Each participant will be judged based on the number of questions
solved correctly and the time they took to complete the round.
Hence there are no chances of achieving the same ranks for two or
more participants
Top 2 players in Round 2 be awarded as 1st and 2nd Rank.
Cheating case: If anyone found cheating will be disqualified from the
competition.
All the decisions made by judges will be final.

Round 1
In this round participant will be ranked based on who will find
maximum no. of Syntax error and solve each of them.
Top 10 coders will be eligible for the next round.

Round 2
This round will be the final round and will be played among the top 10
participants who clear 1st round.
In this round, programs will contain logical errors and the
programmers have to resolve those errors.
There will be a total of three questions

RC Car Race
Basic Rules:
Team entries of 4 are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
Participants must bring their RC Car by themselves.
This tournament will follow the knockout fixture.
If RC car leaves the track the participant will be charged with some
penalty.

Round 1
In the first round, we will follow the knockout fixture and the top 3
teams will be qualified for the next round.

Round 2
The top 3 qualified teams will be competing in a new arena with more
challenges and difficulties such as if rules are broken more penalties
will be charged.

Basic Rules:
This event comprises only one round.
Individual Entries are welcome.
Each participant will get 1 lakh INR as dummy cash to start trading.
Participants will get live market updates and news from our volunteer
anchors.
Participants can buy and hold, day trade, short sell and use their total
balance (investment + profits) for their next trade.
If at any point participant has exceeded the trading amount from the
available balance, he/she will get disqualified immediately.
Any participant caught copying trades from other traders or any
unfair means will get disqualified immediately.
Trade entries of participants will be noted and confirmed by our
volunteers.
The participant with the maximum gains will win.

Note: In the case of a tie-breaker, the one with more winning trades will
win; if again tied, then the one with the greatest profit in trade will win.

Basic Rules:
It is mandatory for participants to report one hour before the
competition.
Team entries of 4 are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
During the competition, teams are allowed to sell only two items to
one customer at a time.
Decision given by the judges will be final.

Round 1

40 minutes will be allotted for this round.


The participants are given three similar items (used or no longer
usable).
For this round coordinators will choose the customers.
Those participants who gain the most profit from selling the given
items will move on to the next round.
Top five teams will move to final round.

Round 2

1 hour will be allotted for this round.


Top scorer team of previous round will have the option of choosing
which product will be assigned to them.
This round allows teams to sell their products within an hour to
anyone.

would be disqualified from the Event.
The teams will be informed about their task one day in advance,
please come prepared for the event.

Round 1

In this round all the teams would be allotted a product.


Teams would be required to submit a self made advertisement video
for the allotted product.
Time limit of video would be max 1 min 30 Secs.
At least 1 team member should be in a video.

Round 2

Each team would be allotted a product and they have to prepare a


marketing strategy for the product they are allotted.
You have to present your marketing strategies on the day of the
event.
Maximum time limit for the presentation will be 3 minutes.

Selected participants should present their Mandala artwork to

Participants will bring their own makeup products.
Participants can do their makeup look on a partner or themselves.

In this round participants will showcase their face painting skills.

This event comprises 3 rounds.
A team-based quiz contest that will test the knowledge of the
contestants in the field of literature. The quiz will include questions
based on books and novels of various genres like action, fantasy,
young adult, sci-fi, romance, psychological thriller, crime fiction, war
fiction, etc.
Participants must not have any sort of cheating material.
Participants must wait before answering their question till the host is
finished dictating the question to them.
Specific details of the round will be shared by the coordinators on
the day of the event.

Dialectic

Basic Rules:
Team entries of 2 are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
Participants must maintain decorum and discipline at all times. Use
of profanities are strictly prohibited.
Interrupting another speaker during their turn will lead to negative
marking.
Judges will note the time carefully. The speaker will be given a sign
when 10 seconds are remaining. After speaking time is up, in case the
speaker is mid-sentence, they may finish it and then stop.
Spare time may not be transferred to another speaker.
The topic shall be disclosed on the day of the event and the stance:
for or against shall be decided on the spot via chit system. Both
members of the team will speak on opposite stances for the same
topic in both debate rounds.
Decision of the judges will be final.

Round 1

This will be impromptu speech round.


Each team will be given a topic on the spot.
Five minutes will be allotted for preparation.
Each speaker has to speak between 40 seconds to 1 minute. A
warning sign will be given at 50 seconds. Speaking less or more than
the allotted duration will result in penalty.
Shortlisted teams will move to round 2.
Round 2

The topic for the debate will be disclosed to the teams along with
their stance of for or against the motion. Accordingly, the teams must
research and prepare themselves (speech, PowerPoint presentation
(if required), notes and the likes).
For research teams will be given preparation time accordingly.
The teams will now start the debate. Each member will get two
minutes for their speech. A total of five minutes have been allotted
for each team.
Interjection is not allowed.
Order of speeches will be decided on the day of the event.

Accuracy of facts and statistics presented of any.
Delivery, language, content and body language during presentation of
speech.

Round 1

One volunteer from the team will appear for the quiz.
The top 10 teams would qualify for 2 round

Round 2

Each team will be allotted a budget of 60 Cr.


The size of each team must be 11 players.
Each team can pick a max of 4 overseas players.
The base price of the players is 2 Crores, 1 Crore, 50 Lakhs, and 20
Lakhs depending on their current form and stats.
When calling your bid, say the franchise name. For example, a Team
representing Rajasthan Royals will bid '50 Lakhs – RR’
The increment bidding for players will be in the following manner:*
20 Lakhs – 50 Lakhs: 5 Lakhs
50 Lakhs – 2 Crore: 10 Lakhs
2 crore to 5Crore – 30 Lakhs
Above 5 Crore – 50 Lakhs
Players who are willing to go for a direct big bid will be allowed to do
so with a feature of Jump Bidding.
The team must pick Min of 3 batsmen 3 bowlers 1 All-rounder 1
Wicket-keeper.
After one round of auction, unsold players will be repeated only
once.

Basic Rules:

This event comprises 3 rounds.
Each team will need to solve or find clues spread throughout the
campus to get benefits and earn points to win the games.
Replacement of any team is not allowed after the allotment.
After every round, there will elimination of the team's taken outplace.
The decision of the Judges will be final.
Detailed description of each sub-round will be given on the day of the
event.
Violation of rules or misbehavior will result in immediate
disqualification.

Round 1

It consists of 3 sub rounds in which first would be: -


“MCQs” based on the theme of Sabrang.
“Who Am I” in which one member of a team will identify the
character written on the slip while other will perform the actions.
“Back To Back” in this participants will hold the balloon with the
support of their backs while walking and pick the balls and put
them in basket.
Top 10 teams will proceed for round 2

Round 2

In this round teams will be provided with the riddle and a map with
the help of which they need to find the clues which will lead them to
the treasure map.
4 teams who will find the treasure map will proceed for round 3
Round 3

This is the final round in which teams who have found the treasure
map need to find the treasure with the help of map in given time
period.

This will be a buzzer round, whichever team presses the buzzer first

Teams can only press the buzzer after the host is finish speaking the

For every correct answer teams will be awarded 15 points, for every
incorrect answer there will be a penalty of 5 points.

plagiarism, the participant will be disqualified.
Only one submission per person is allowed. In case of multiple
submissions, participants will be disqualified.
Likes/Comments spamming is strictly restricted in case of voting for
the memes.

Round 1

In round one go all out make a meme all by yourself using the any one
of the topic provided during the event.
The meme should be ready within 20mins.
This is an elimination round

Round 2

Shortlisted candidates of the first round will have to make a meme


using photos/videos from Sabrang event only .
Time limit for collecting pictures and videos will be 15mins and meme
should be created in 20mins (Total 35mins)
Judgement Criteria

ROUND 1 : Event coordinators and jury would decide on the basis on


originality and creativity .
ROUND 2 : Winner will be decided based on the maximum number of
likes on his/her meme post.

Courtroom

Basic Rules:
Team entries of 4 are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
It is mandatory for participants to report one hour before the
competition.
The teams will be provided with a case study and clues to solve the
case.
All members of team should be present on the day of hearing for
presenting their case to judges
Decision given by the judges will be final.

Round 1

The registered participants will receive a Case study that requires to


be solved and then they should frame a story and find the real
culprit.
After scrutinizing that case study participants have to submit a write
up of up to 200words sharing their field of vision by a specific date.
Based on the entries submitted ,the participants will be selected for
round 2.

Round 2

After the first hearing participants will be given more clues that will
help them solve the case and present it in front of judges.
Before hearing, the participants are asked to submit their written
document stating the points they are going to present.

Judgement will be done on the basis of story write up provided by


the team and presentation of case during the hearings.

event of the year.

Basic Rules:
Team entries of 10-15 are welcome.
This event comprises only one round.
All participants should report to the venue 1.5 hours prior to the
event.
The participants are allowed to use props as per their wish to
enhance their performance.
Time limit is 15 mins (curtain to curtain).
The candidates will be responsible for their belongings in case of any
damage.
Any kind of non-disobedience of the rules may lead to direct
elimination.
Participants should bring their own makeup products and other
required materials.
The costume and Makeup look should match the theme decided by
the coordinator.
Each participant should wear the number tags that will be allotted to
them.

Basic Rules:
Individual entries are welcome.
This event comprises 2 rounds.
Participants can only use Mobile phones to capture photographs, use
of professional cameras and DSLRs will not be entertained.
The decision of the judges will be final.
Violation of rules will not be entertained.
Replacement of any participant is not allowed after the allotment.
Participants will be judged on the content/idea not the quality of the
photographs.
Use of smoke/fire for taking photographs is prohibited.
Only Crop and Monochrome Tools are allowed to edit the
photographs.
Submitted photographs should be captured within the given time
limit. It shouldn’t be an old one.

Round 1

In 1st Round, participants will have to Capture anything in


Monochrome in the given time limit. There will be an elimination at
the end of this round.

Round 2

In the 2nd Round, 3 captions will be provided and participants will


have to Capture photos in any profile on any one of the captions
given. The best ones would be posted on the shade’s Instagram
handle.

posted on the official JKLU Sabrang nstagram handle.(1 like= 1 point,
1 comment= 2points)
Participants can share their respective posts.
The top 10 posts will be selected for the finale.

Round 2

1 hour would be given to bring engagement to their respective posts.


Results will be decided on the basis of a referendum.
