6.1 Passion Means A Lot To Teachers
6.1 Passion Means A Lot To Teachers
A strong devotion to
mold their pupils’ intelligences. And an overmastering conviction to change lives through their untiring
influences. Passion for teaching means spending almost hundred percent of your life in this field. Giving
up everything for the sake and welfare of your pupils. Treating them as special as their own child. And
most specially accepting the divine calling from the most Holy Father above.
To the teachers out there and to those who also wants to be a mentor, you should really think
of what is your passion. Do not apply the saying “Let’s just cross the bridge when we get there.” Because
if you are not sure about what do you want, you cannot bear the ups and downs of being a teacher. You
cannot wait for the fruits of your sacrifices which can be seen at the end of the story of being a teacher.
The good deeds in return will that will show how you cared for them before, how you inspired them,
how you touched their lives and help them build their dreams. You will never know how long your
influence has reach their better future. Sooner or later you will see the professionals that you built, the
strong members of the society. But on the other hand if you did not do your part, if you did not give
your best, the worst is expected also.
The final course requirement is an essay that serves to summarize all of the
things that you have shared and gathered throughout the course.
1. Discuss your own enablers of passion (refer to the mind map you
previously created). Explain each enabler you identified and how this relates
to your passion as a teacher.
2. Expound on your "future you" vision. How would you want your students
to remember you as an exceptional teacher?
3. Identify your 3 action plans, steps or changes and discuss each one.
