In John Green’s video, he explains that the difference in your salary if you go to college will essentially

make college pay for itself and then some, making college worth it. In the Forbes article, it explains that
a “good” education is often seen as an expensive one, when it won’t really influence the job you get and
the money you make that much, and that where you earn your degree doesn’t matter. It also claims that
student loan debt is its own economic problem. I believe that college is very much worth the money,
and that the issues that come with it are mostly a US only problem. We have one of the highest tuition
costs of any country, and that has created problems few other countries have to deal with. But even
with that cost, college is still worth it and is necessary for many career pathways.
